We arrived at half past 1 in the afternoon, and even though our check-in wasn't until half past 2, we got our keys straight away (even though reception was quite busy with a hen party also checking in - some of whom had already...

Arrived on a Friday afternoon to find a very smelly place and no ensuite rooms - who wants to walk through the hotel in the middle of the night to find a toilet? The young man who met us on arrival, after waiting some time for the door to be opened, was quite pleasant but said he had only been...

Stayed here spontaneously a couple of months ago as an anniversary treat, to escape the kids and enjoy some quality time together. When we arrived, (all tired and thirsty from our journey from Birmingham) we were greeted by Robert, who was genuinely very polite, happy and welcoming. He firstly helped with our bags and arranged for our car to be...

we stayed at the Browne's hotel for the bank holiday. I found the staff very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. The place itself was scrupulously clean. The breakfast was very nice too.Overall we had a great stay and I would highly recommend it .

Shockingly bad service !! Arrived after driving a few hundred miles only to be told there was no room for us. We had a booking. No prior phone call even though they had a contact number for us. A relief however. The smell was disgusting !! Wonderful stay at De Veres
