We managed to get a last minute booking for August Bank Holiday, and we are glad we chose The Canasta. The owners and staff are welcoming and so helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The "Big Brekkie" is just that, very enjoyable but too much for me ( till I realised...

Thanks Sophia, very much for your brilliant review. I'll give the staff a kit-kat as a weekly bonus. Mandy is pleased you like the new addition to the breakfast menu - the salmon with hollondaise sauce on a toasted muffin is lovely - I should take a piccy of one for the website. Room 1 can never, in a month...

Im sorry you were disappointed. We don't have ANY rooms that are perfectly suitable for a family of 5 and don't actually sell any on the website that are such. However we do get many families choosing the family 4 room option after we ALWAYS mention that the room would be tight with 5 in and that two of the...

Thanks very much Steve for your business, extended stay and kind review. We do have the best spot in Blackpool, I think, and our slight elevation gives us a great view.

My Family are staying at the Canasta Hotel again. We have been staying here for years, in fact every visit to the resort. Clean, value for money and the nicest genuine owners you could wish to meet. Rooms are fresh, clean and well kept. Breakfast is legendary and good traditional non greasy fare. Bar facilities are excellent and fantastic views...

Staff very friendly and helpful, bar prices very reasonably priced. Rooms comfortable but a wee bit dated, fine for a weekend away. Only complaint is the shower room, the shower wasn't up to much due to the lack of water pressure. There is a lift to take you up to the top floor.
