I stayed here with a group of friends I absolutely loved it! The owners were so down to earth and welcoming. My room was spotless and after our night out the bar was open for us to continue the night. I loved the whole experience id have no hesitation in booking here again just for the breakfast!

Stayed for the illuminations, decor is slightly 1970's downstairs but that is how most Blackpool hotels/B+B's are.The owner was friendly and chatty. We went to our rooms (we had 2 rooms between our family of 5) and both rooms were great, clean and pretty spacious and are a little bit more modern than downstairs . We had a couple of drinks...

Thanks for your review. Since your visit last year we have redecorated downstairs and tried to give a more modern look. However, the hotel opened for business in 1871 and was one of the first purpose built hotels in Blackpool, so it is difficult to create a modern building within a historic building without losing its' character. You are absolutely...

We booked on a whim this weekend, since I hadnt been to Blackpool before. I had read reviews on Blackpool and expected the worst! How wrong I was! Blackpool was great, the Prom, far from being tacky and grubby, was new and vibrant, and the comedy carpet (pic included) was brilliant! The hotel was clean and warm, which is what...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here a few weekends ago, really great hotel. Deb and Neil are very lovely people and really made us feel at home. 5 Stars definitely! I also love all the changes made to Blackpool's promenade in the recent years, they've given the town the modern feel it needed!

Hi Tylah It was a great weekend and I'm glad that all the family enjoyed themselves. We have always enjoyed families staying and in many cases we have seen the children when they are young, watched them go through their teenage years and now have started to bring their own partners. Hi Laurie. We know how hard it is to take young children away to a hotel particularly with the large number of bags that have to be carried for every eventuality so we try our best to help in any way we can. See you soon Neil

We stayed in a family room which was plenty big enough and quiet, the room was nicely decorated with lovely co-ordinated fresh linen and very well appointed with refreshments ( kettle, coffee, teabags and milk ) and the Television was modern and easy to navigate. The bathroom was more than adequate, and although plastic sterile drinking cups were available, I...

Hi Paula Glad you had a great time. The sterile plastic cups, in general, are more manageable than glass with the obvious safety issues but we would always provide a glass if you requested it. I remember you saying that you are about to get a dog. Keep a check on your email because we are hoping to announce some...
