The best thing I can say about the Carn Brae is that it is clean and the breakfasts were good. The entire place is old and tired looking with really bad decoration. Our room was so small you literally couldn't swing the proverbial cat. The elevator is seriously dodgy.

Hotel is about a mile from the casino. It's a pity most of the surrounding area is shut down/falling down. Was a good standard of hotel, excellent breakfast (probably the best I've had in Blackpool), very friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

We stayed at the carn brae last Tuesday This was our third stay this year and we enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, the cleanliness, the extreme comfort and the highlight was yet again the very tasty, filling, carefully cooked breakfast. ( even the fried bread was a light, crispy delicacy!). We are looking forward to our next stay already!

Lovely friendly, helpful staff. Modern decor and furnishings throughout. Very comfortable bed. Everywhere very clean. Excellent breakfasts, partly buffet style and partly waiter service. Free parking, and trams very close by. There is a lift available and disabled access too. Highly reccommended!

This hotel was okay to stay in, the room was nice & spacey but was a tad dirty. We wanted a shower when we arrived & was told we couldn't have one as the hot water was turned off. The lady that was working on reception was chewing gum whilst speaking to us. The kettle was chalky & the cups...

Stayed here again for the second year running and the Carn Brae did not disappoint. I can see that the owner is doing the rooms up as the room we stayed in was even better than last year. The room had a good view of the beach and was very clean. Although it is located away from the tower and...
