Stayed here with work and as per many Ibis hotels there were friendly staff and the food was reasonable. The bed was comfortable and had enough space. There was good wifi and although the parking was full in the car park, the hotel is close to other carparks (need to pay though).

My wife and I visited Leicester for a comedy gig and I booked this as part of the weekend. Overall, I'd say the hotel is OK, but for numerous reasons, it wasn't the best experience I've had even in the most basic/budget hotels. On booking it said that there was limited car parking at the hotel. I cannot stress how...

I've reviewed this in the past and it was just a basic ibis but it is now being refurbished and it's a real improvement. Out go the white walls and in comes a much softer arty feel. In Leicester it's main rival is the Premier Inn a few hundred metres away. I think it's hard to choose now it feels...

Booked direct with hotel and was not advised of building works. Was told on arrival but too late to make alternative arrangements. Was advised work would stop at 5pm but was 6.30pm and not start til after 9am, but started at 7.15. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and shower superb.

Was staying in Leicester on business and knew that this hotel was being refurbished. On arrival the staff were very apologetic about the ongoing works and informed me if the times the works took place. As my room was on the ground floor, I had to pass reception quite a bit and was always greeted with a smile or a...

I know the Ibis hotel branch in Germany and I was happy with the service last year, that is why I chose the hotel in UK. In Leicester there was not an EU adaptor available, the room was not cleaned so one can be pleased about. I asked for hangers and never got them, so I kept half of my...

Rooms in process of being refurbished, basic and comfortable with nice new showers which are good size and great water pressure. Basic facilities, tea, hairdryer and small tv with a few channels. Breakfast looked poor with over cooked food buffet style and charged £2.50 for horrible tea despite being guests. Fantastic home grown breakfast available from Deliahs a short walk...

When I checked in the receptionist explained the hotel was being refurbished and gave me a room on the 4th floor to keep me away from the noise. As it happened the noise stopped at 6 PM so it did not bother me. The Dinner menu was basic but tasty. The bedroom was comfortable and I had a good nights...

Very basic stay at the hotel. Clean room, extra pillows, TV wasn't too bad. Bathroom was a 'pod' in the room. Very small and very wet! Shower space was a good size. Bed was on the hard side but larger than expected.

This hotel is right next to the main road near the station so is central but not really relaxing! There are a few car parking spaces under the hotel but they are limited. The rooms are quite basic and the bathroom is in a little pod, with not much space and harsh lighting. Nothing special about this place-a fairly characterless...
