I have spent the best part of the last 4 weeks staying at the Fieldhead and it's been very comfortable. Clean rooms and bathrooms, super comfy beds, good wifi, quick service in the restaurant and decent food. The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the lady on reception most mornings was particularly friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Only...

I have stayed at the field head for many years but the last time was about 12 months ago. I wrote a review which was about the poor service, food and the state of the rooms. The carpets and the whole place needed a massive change. I stayed here on 5th December to see what the changes were and they...

We've used the Field Head twice for family gatherings. We had 6 diners but we're a group of 9 so 3 simply wanted drinks. If you are on a table in the designated bar area then you have to get your own drinks and order your own meals at the bar. With seating elsewhere you get waitress service. Although we...

We decided to visit the field head hotel for a meal after hearing about how nice the place had been refurbished, what a dreadful meal. After 50 minutes a waitress appeared and said that there was a problem with the order and that our meal wouldn't be long, 10 minutes later we finally got it. My wife's fillet steak was...

We love this hotel. The staff are friendly, the restaurant is warm and comfortable and the service is excellent. The food is good and pleasant to eat. It was our second stay and the room was really good in all respects.

Went with my girlfriend on a Sunday evening as it was where we enjoyed our first date. This time we both enjoyed great meals in a very pleasant environment. Service was quick, the food was very good and the staff were very accommodating. Will definitely be going again to celebrate our anniversary 😀

We stayed Saturday night. Lovely and clean. Breakfast super, good choices and waitress could not have been more helpful or friendly. Don't asking reception for recommended taxi co. They are a rip off, for short distance £4 there & £15 back at 10.30pm!

Good location not far off motorway. We had a great room (superior, larger than average, with a four poster bed). It is a nice large pub with individually zoned areas so you can feel you are in a private area not in the middle of a bit space, which is great. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We only...

Travelling north from Suffolk we selected this hotel as it was just off our route. We were really pleased with our choice as it was just about 1 mile from the M1 yet had no road noise and was built in a country style having originally been farm buildings. Our spacious room was furnished in quality wood with an extremely...
