I stayed at Launde Abbey for two nights on business. It's a peaceful place and the staff are welcoming. The evening service and contemplative prayer provided a nice end to the day. The bedroom was comfortable and I slept well.

Thank you for your feedback. It is great that we are able to provide a retreat for those wanting their own space and also to cater for larger groups. We are delighted to look after secular and well as religious groups and I am pleased that you enjoyed your time with us.

Launde Abbey is an amazing place where you can have a great retreat away from the bustle of everyday life. The food provided in the facility is absolutely fantastic and the location is in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The Abbey buildings are quite spectacular in themselves. If you need a quiet retreat and a place to get away...

We were on a conference for a two night stay. We stayed in the stables it wasn't the best of rooms. We requested ground floor the room was very simple no wardrobes or television. Bathroom was a wet room and a mop and bucket was in there for us to mop the water up something I didn't want to do...

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, Launde is an Oasis, giving you time to be yourself. There is very little we can do about the mobile telephone signal but the Governments scheme to bring fast broadband to rural areas has just reached us. We are working on bringing this faster internet wirelessly in certain areas of the building. We will...

Thank you for your feedback. Launde is a great place to simply stop for a while. Whether that stop is just for the afternoon or for a few days. There is the space to be yourself, or in this very busy world, there is the space to find yourself again. We do not "push this" but we also hope that...

Perfect setting, quiet and relaxing, A party for a special lady who lives in Sydney Australia & we only see her every 3 years. Aaron's organisation and super roast dinner meant a wonderful time, enjoyed by all . Music playing, leaving on a jet plane.

Visited for a bit of peace and tranquility. The gardens are beautiful and really serene. We had lunch and a cup of tea in the café. The lunch menu offered a decent selection at reasonable prices. We had jacket potatoes which came with a really nice salad. The staff who served us were very pleasant particularly the chap on the...

Thank you so much for your kind comments. With the weather so lovely at the moment a visit to our gardens is well worth time. I am pleased to be able to tell you that your jacket potatoes and salads came from our own gardens. You really cannot get any more locally sourced produce than from 150 metres away. Our...

Lovely manor house operating as a Christian Retreat and Conference Centre. Beautiful parkland setting, excellent catering, chapel attached and characterful accommodation in the house. Miles of walking in the surrounding countryside, and an attractive walled garden.

Thank you for your positive feedback. Attracting walkers, cyclists and anyone passing by is something that we have been promoting for a little while. It is great to see the numbers of people using us increasing. We have a lovely menu for our “drop in” guests and at this time of year most of the potatoes, salads and British fruits...

I came here with a friend after a walk for lunch. The weather was great so we decided to sit outside. The main was varied and everything was homemade. Lots of sandwiches and salads to choose from and a bar option if you wish. Would return again. You can also take a tour around the abbey.

Thank you for your feedback. Not only is everything homemade most of the British fruits and salads are grown here in our walled garden. Please pop in and see the kitchen garden which is in the walled area at the end of a path. There is also a Victorian greenhouse there (in need of repair) which houses some fantastic examples...

Thank you for your comments. We make the soups here at the Abbey from vegetables grown in our gardens and other locally sourced produces.
