Just stayed at the Tower Hotel for 3 nights, lovely hotel, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast is excellent, it is situated in an ideal position very close to the old town and some excellent restaurants, we were given a parking permit so were able to park right outside , will definitely like to stay again and would...

Stayed for one night. Location is excellent, right on Bailgate. Parking is on a council owned car park opposite hotel costing just over £7 for 24 hours. The hotel had no parking permits available. Had a twin bedded room, room 4. Right above the bar. Decent sized room and bathroom. Very clean, quality of pillows could have been better. Plumbing...

Although still getting over them moving curry night to a Monday ( they do a mean curry I can't get out the house on a Monday) I have to say their Tuesday special night of a pie and pint is great value and good pub food. Good atmosphere -,good prices and always loads of staff so you don't wait long.

The hotel is small (no elevator access to the rooms). We booked a superior room which had a reasonable size and a new bathroom. The TV was small for the size of the room. My son's bedroom was a simple single and was very small, on the 3rd floor. The bar is quite popular with locals and serves good food....

We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday lunch in the restaurant. Piping hot soup (apple and parsnip).Beautifully cooked beef with traditional vegetables. Excellent service from all of the staff. I think that covers everything.

We booked a Bridge view room and the extra cost was well worth it. The bridge was huge and so close. We also drove there and were able to park in the underground car park - a great bonus for any London Hotel. £20 parking cost for one night seemed reasonable for the convenience. Guoman offers anyone who becomes a...

Did not eat although the food in the bar smelled good. But, the beer is boring, very little change and the bar itself was just to cold. Not sure what kind of heating it has but the one rad we could see was hardly warm. This is not the first time the bar has been cold, it seems to be...

I stayed here for a work trip just before Christmas. The welcome at reception, lovely friendly service at the bar and a clean, comfortable room all made for a great experience. On the evening I stayed I ate in the Bar and had a quite delicious meal. Even sitting on my own, I felt very comfortable and the staff could...

We found this hotel by chance. The staff were warm and welcoming and very helpful. The attention to detail was exceptional, and fresh milk for tea just made it perfect. The room was warm and beautifully fitted with a very comfortable bed and contemporary feel mixing old and new. The breakfast was superb. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel. Rooms very spacious and beautifully furnished. Sadly a stop over on our way home from new year on Edinburgh, would have loved to stay longer. Hope to be back to see more of a lovely city. Breakfast provided a great choice and was great. All staff were very friendly and professional. Thanks for a lovely stay.
