What a great B&B! Sue and David are so friendly and ready to chat. A wonderfully comfortable bed in room 4. The tea tray was well stocked, Sue even left glasses for our bottle of wine! The blackout blind meant that we were never disturbed by the early morning light. The view from the room and the breakfast room are...

Have to experiment with best route to house as site warns you need to approach via Mill Road, no mention that it is one way. We found best approach is from roundabout onto burton road, waldeck road and then onto mill road. However, on arrival a lovely house on the hill, our room had an incredible view out over the...

Great little find. Stayed one night for an interview the following day. Very late arrival due to storm "Doris" causing havoc on the roads. The owners Sue and David were fine and understanding with this. Very hospitable and made me feel very welcome. Lovely home cooked full English breakfast. Would definitely recommend a stay at this guest house for a...

Welcoming and helpful owners. Room and whole place was immaculate. Fantastic attention to detail - with lots of little touches which most places wouldn't think of (magazines in room, extra toiletries, hot chocolate in room, home made jams etc at breakfast) Close to Cathedral area. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Lincoln.

The Mayfield Guest House proved to be an excellent place to stay. Spotless, warm, comfortable, good amenities, a delicious freshly cooked breakfast and hosts that treat you like welcome guests and want to make your stay as pleasant as possible without being intrusive. The literature they supplied gave ideas of where to visit and eat with details of how long...
