Pros: comfy bed, bar is ok and the coffee At breakfast was good. Cons: looks a bit tired & in need of renovation. heating didn’t work and nothing done when reported it so was pretty cold. No milk for the tea/coffee in the room and there was an empty drinks bottle in the bin so obviously hadn’t been emptied. Breakfast was low quality in terms of food. When we came to collect our bags the receptionist was not able to hide her irritation at having to go and get them which wasn’t great. I’d probably look elsewhere next time.
The Jurys Inn is very well located directly opposite the ACC conference centre and the M&S Bank Arena alongside the Albert Dock. I arrived at the same time as quite a few other people and check-in was very slow. The rooms was functional. The bed was quite hard, the storage was front to back rails but otherwise the room was OK. Disappointingly there was no safe in the room so nowhere to leave a laptop securely when you went out. The bathroom was OK, with a hot strong shower and good quality towels. Breakfast in the lobby area was fine - there was a good choice of cereals, fruit, hot and cold drinks, bread, jams and hot food It was all buffet self-service. There is also a bar in the lobby.
Great hotel in a fantastic location. We stayed here for a girls family trip and when we walked into into the hotel the first thing we noticed was the lovely fresh smell. Reception staff were warm and welcoming and our room was perfect. Beds lovely and comfortable and great shower in the bathroom. Tea making facilities were much appreciated after a long day sightseeing and were replenished during our stay. Hotel breakfast buffet was really tasty with a fantastic choice of continental and fried breakfast and plenty of options for the vegetarian in our group. Staff were very helpful and we were able to leave our bags on the day we checked out and collect them later for our departure. Great hotel in a perfect location beside The Beatles experience, Liverpool One shopping area and M&S Bank Arena all a few minutes walk from the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.…
This place treated my daughter and young son like a peice of poo, im disgusted at them they went over to comic con with my grandson my daughter has been on the phone with me saying how bad the receptionist was with her and then to find that the room was disgusting was the final nail ... jurys inn liverpool how dare you treat people this way you didnt mind taking 250 pounds off her for 1 night and had the cheek to nearly charge her another 50 pounds to leave her bag there whilst she took her son out ... shamefull
On arrival we were greeted by the receptionist - long blonde hair and glasses - she looked and sounded like she didnt want to be there - she was less than welcoming. We had to wait a few hours until check in so went to bar for baps and tea. 50 mins later baps arrived - tea and lattes gone cold. All the time a staff member proceeded to clean the chairs with a dry cleaning device and drag the chairs loudly across the bar. The bed and pillows very comfy but we woke to the window dripping in water and codensation. There was mould in the bathroom ceiling. We ordered room service - again took 45 mins to come - no utensils or drinks. By time they came up food was semi cold. I would definitely stay somewhere else if in Liverpool again - few gems but the majority of the staff just are not up to scratch for a jurys hotel.…
Great value. Comfortable hotel with a delicious breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. To mention Ali in reception and Mike behind the bar. Both offered, friendly and excellent customer service. Nothing was too much trouble.
Paid over £300 for a night here. There’d be nothing much wrong with this place at half that price and the location is exceptional, but at that price I don’t expect a bathroom ceiling half covered in mould, condensation on the windows and a very average breakfast.
My wife and I went for a nice weekend away in Liverpool as it has lots of things to do and see. We chose this hotel as we had stayed there in the past. This time we chose the executive room and were quickly checked in from our long journey up the motorways from home in Sussex. Car parking in very modern multi storey car park a short distance from this hotel accommodated our car for the duration of our stay. Everything we needed was within walking distance so we didn't need the car. Our room, on the 6th floor was very nice and spacious. Huge king size bed, nice fluffy white towels with soft drinks, water and snack biscuits in the fridge. The view from our window was amazing, overlooking the Liverpool Big Wheel, conference centre and river. After a great nights sleep, we went down for the buffet breakfast which we booked at check in. The selection was good and it set us up for a nice day exploring this great city. It was quite busy in the hotel as there was an international gymnastics championships taking place in the arena next door. Athletes from all over the world were milling around creating a nice buzz. The staff, many of whom were quite young, worked hard and were always pleasant. After 3 lovely nights we left with many happy memories. This hotel suited our needs and we will book again when next in Liverpool.…
I visited this hotel to deliver First Aid training to their staff. Throughout my visit I was made to feel very welcome by all those I came into contact with. The food and service were both excellent, and the rooms very comfortable. The training facilities were first class and well serviced. I look forward to revisiting soon.
We had an executive queen room overlooking the Mersey for £80 a night . The room was well equipped and very together. We had a lovely stay . We’re given free Costa vouchers . I couldn’t believe the cost for the good quality of hotel. Staff were charming
