Stayed one night in a twin bed room. The room was enormous with plenty of storage should you need it. The beds were clean and comfortable. The toilet and shower were also sufficient for use with two bath and two clean towels. We only booked room only so cannot comment on breakfast. The hotel is just a short walk -... More

Stayed at Roscoe House for 4 nights in October. Pressed the doorbell a few times, but was greeted by a polite and welcoming lady who welcomed me in. She was obviously busy checking some other guests in. My room was not ready as I had arrived before the check in time, but I was able to leave my bags there.... More

Myself and my partner stayed here over night when on a night out with friends, this was a fantastic hotel in a great location. We paid just under £50 for the evening and for a hotel in the city centre on a weekend this was very reasonable! The member of staff who greeted us was friendly and had a lot... More

Overall we were pleased with our stay. The staff were ultra friendly and helpful which counts for a lot in my opinion. Parking is unclear on the website and I was unable to call them after 2 number searches on Google. Parking could be arranged for a £10 fee. Room was grand in style and proportion but lacked the bath... More

Nice quirky accommodation convenient to town centre and reasonably priced. Secure locking system for security. Friendly reception. no food facilities but that was great for what we wanted. 10 minutes walk to the city and nearer for many pubs.

I went to Roscoe House in March for one night with my partner. When we arrived at Roscoe House we were welcomed by a great girl of the staff. She was very friendly. When we've opened the door of our room, the first word was...WOW!!!The room was tidy, warm, clean and the mattress...so comfy! I really recommend to everyone!!!

The location is great and the staff are really friendly and helpful, being on the top floor with no lift was a bit of a chore though. Room was nice, very shabby chic and especially liked there being wine glasses and a bottle opener in the room, nice touch, huge bathroom but the shower needs attention, door almost fell off... More

my partner and I stayed here recently for a few days. im sorry we did, the place could do with a good clean, the stained carpets were an eye sore. a good maintenance is what it needs to be fair. the back door leaned over when we arrived, didn't really bother me until I saw the numerous bags of rubbish...
