Lovely stay at the Haywood House Hotel. Bedroom spacious and very comfortable as well as maintained to a great standard. Staff team were great …all very helpful and pleasant Perfect hotel at a great price in a superb central location
This lovely little hotel is based in a former bank. The staff is amazing, very knowledgeable and really helpful. A stone throw away from Liverpool James Street station it’s a great base to explore Liverpool. Will definitely come back.
Check-in staff pleasant and helpful advising what was local to visit. Room spotless and well equipped, I liked that they are moving towards being as eco friendly as possible too with recyclables. Plenty of tea and coffee provided and the dressing gowns are so fluffy! Slippers can be taken home to save waste. Location close to sights, the docks and Cavern Club are only a short walk away. Will stay again next time I'm in Liverpool.
Stayed for two nights mid-week with an extended check out. Excellent room, everything you needed was supplied and very comfortable. Went to a pub next door for breakfast 3 times, again excellent food and coffee. Option to have a grab and go breakfast at the Hotel
Great hotel close to shops and the waterfront, lots of eating places close by, room was very clean could not fault anything. Alda on the reception desk was lovely very friendly and recommended several eating places for us , will definitely be staying again 10/10
This hotel is quite central for accessing university buildings and also the surrounding retail outlets. Close to a very wide range of restaurants. The rooms are exceptionally clean and tidy, with sufficient space and natural day lighting. Shame no facilities for breakfast but a big choice of local eateries is only minutes away. I would have liked to have a clothes stand for wet jacket and coat when it rained, to avoid putting wet clothes in the wardrobe. However the coat hook is not suitable for coats!
Do not book if you want to sleep! At midnight we complained to reception about the noise and were told it’s tough as they don’t control the music in the bar below and can’t move us as they’re full. Ruined a night away for my husbands birthday. The room Itself was basic at best, my bed at home is so much nicer and FREE.
This Hotel is so central you can either visit the water front or go into town, plus its just a few minutes from St James Station so central. There are a few nice drinking places from the Hotel too in the square. The hotel is good if you are out later in the evening as you find a night porter on duty
One of the very worst nights sleep ever. Very noisy outside until the early hours - appreciate hard for the to control - but annoying none the less However, the was a more annoying buzz/drone in the room which was dreadful. Sounded like air con machines outside I mentioned this upon checkout and also email the hotel and have not received any response
We stayed for one night mid week and it was excellent. Got a good deal with groupon and had bottle of wine and breakfast in a bag included. Our room was spotless with plenty of space. Good selection of hot drinks in room. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely stay here again.
