A very big thank-you to Crowne Plaza for donating 1 nights bed and breakfast to the charity Incubabies (for life threatened premature babies). I was lucky enough to win this prize at a charity event raffle. It is a wonderful place to stay and being very close to many Liverpool attractions was a bonus. Thanks to the lovely friendly staff that put the icing on the cake that made our short but very enjoyable visit so sweet

We were due to attend a concert at the nearby Arena, so decided to make a night of it with a stay at the Crowne Plaza. The hotel's location and on-site parking mean that it is easy to get to and convenient for guests and any luggage they bring. The reception was busy on arrival, but staff were pleasant and efficient so kept everything and everyone moving. Guest rooms are a decent size and whilst we had been informed by reception that our room had been upgraded I wasn't sure what the difference between rooms was. Nonetheless the room was comfortable and ensured a good night sleep later. Before that was our trip to the Albert Dock and Arena, both of which are within safe walking distance. On returning after the concert we enjoyed a drink in the bar, but were a little disappointed that there were no bar snacks/nibbles to go with the drinks. Apparently this is due to Covid, which means that they aren't able to serve/sell snacks even in packets. Breakfast the following morning was good, using a typical buffet format, and we were glad that we had heeded the advice at check-in and booked an earlier time slot as the restaurant got really busy from 9.00am onwards. We have stayed here before for similar events and would happily do so again the next time we are in Liverpool.

Slept really well, room was a little hot but nothing that prevented a good sleep. Staff were beyond helpful reception and staff on the door couldn’t have been more helpful, very chatty. The breakfast was lovely the staff were also amazing. Lovely stay.

My wife and I made a last minute decision to visit Liverpool between Christmas and New Year. I am an IHG member and looked at availability and chose the hotel without having prior experience. We were very pleasantly surprised by the location, which is awesome for a visit to the amazing city of Liverpool. It has very good parking facilities and an EV charging point albeit guests have to pay a steep parking fee. However considering that pretty much everywhere in Liverpool has expensive parking it is not that unreasonable. We stayed on a high floor with river view and room was clean, comfortable with nice touches such as tea, coffee facilities, good TV range of channels. We ate breakfast which was of a good standard and buffet style but did not use the restaurant. We did drink in the bar and prices were reasonable. The leisure facilities were OK, but gym equipment was a bit tired compared to other CP I have stayed in and thus is the only reason for a 4 star rating. One real stand out point was the young receptionist Kelsey who offered a really positive welcome to the hotel, and during the stay was extremely helpful, always smiling and always willing to help. She is a real asset to the hotel and IHG. Would recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Liverpool

We stayed here specifically because it had a good sized swimming pool but it was a lot more expensive than other hotels. The pool was nice and we used it every day. The only thing I would say is the tiles around it are very slippy (also in changing rooms) so advisable to take pool side shoes. The ladies changing rooms are odd - they have squeezed in too many shower cubicles which means there is barely room to open the doors (which open in) and get in and out of the cubicles. It is the tightest squeeze I have ever experienced. The rest of the hotel was fine. Rooms pretty average. Location good.
