We booked this boutique hotel for a long awaited weekend away as a couple. It is on Trip Advisor under Urbanista not The Boudoir so that confuses things. It is a hard to find hotel round the back of Bold Street. You have to call a number to get in. The lady on reception was ok. Could have been a bit more welcoming. We parked in the ParkBee around the corner and pre booked £10 for overnight. Our room was quite nice until we tried to use it! No heating in the bathroom and the room remained cold. Tv didn’t work and my husband went to ask and was told ‘the wind blew the aerial out last week and we’ve not fixed it yet’ Great! But the worst was the lack of hot water. The shower heating control was clearly broken. The lady from reception came up and tried to tell us all was fine and we should just run the water for a while. Then flounced out and didn’t check again. Then came the coldest and noisiest night ever. The bed was quite comfy but my husband and I were woken on the hour every hour by shouting, screaming and fighting in the street. Then it was punctuated with banging and shouting and loud music in the hotel. At one point around 4am there was an enormous crash like someone drunk has called over. Today is the Sunday and back home my husband and I are utterly exhausted. My husband couldn’t get a hot shower the next day (and I didn’t bother) and we just came home. To totally disappointed. Do not waste your money. Avoid avoid avoid.…
This hotel is a hidden gem. It is a boutique hotel of around 20 rooms (I think!) and is right in the centre of Liverpool, the entrance is on Wood Street, but the hotel address is on Bold street which does pose confusion to navigation, however it was easy enough for us to find. the rooms are extremely spacious, clean and modern. We stayed in the wild corner suite, which has a private outdoor area, bar, beauty stations, three double beds which are super comfy, a large flat screen smart TV, LED mood lighting, two modern bathrooms with walk-in showers and LED mirrors and the general hotel decor is beautiful! This hotel is great for hen-do's, stag-do's, nights out with friends, but also couples and families. I can't recommend this place enough, each room is different and all are little party pads!…
Stayed one night in the heart of Liverpool - walking distance from Centre, docks etc. we couldn’t find entrance - it’s not on Bold St even though that’s the address - but did so after a phone call. Rooms were a decent size with all mod cons apart from nowhere to hang towels. Lift access, outer door card access all good. Got lift to Slims for Continental Breakfast (inc in price) on ground floor & waited in restaurant for 15 minutes but nobody showed up, so we left. Great location - an ideal spot.
My wife and I stayed here and it’s fabulous. The rooms are lovely, very clean, en-suite is great. It’s in a great location and car park just a minute or two walk. My only criticism, would be the outside signage isn’t clear and obvious. We walked around the block twice trying to find it.
We stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel for a weekend rooms lovely very warm bed comfy towels super soft was right in town every think on hand restaurant pubs shopping 2 minute walk to Liverpool 1 and docks no noise slept really well considering we were right in town very reasonable room rates for locations would definitely go stay there again easy check in and check out parking is easy just park secure parking £20 for the weekend
We had been recommended various restaurants on Bold St. and had chosen Urbsnista because of it location. What we didn't realise is it was only in day two of opening! Perfect room, spacious, warm, decent bathroom with Bodyshop amenities. Great stay, hope they maintain the quality. Will happily book again!
