We had the attic room that sleeps 4, was impressed with size of room and the fact we had a double bed & 2 singles. Lovely decorated bathroom with shower. Tea, coffee, kettle, TV provided, however we couldn't connect to wifi as presumably we were too far away from the router downstairs. There's no lift and a lot of stairs...

Did a really last minute booking here our booking was really cheap for a 1 night stay double room almost half the price of anything else in the area. The hotel is really attractive from the outside and in a fabulous position right on the edge of Sefton park overlooking the lake area lovely. Finding the hotel was easy and...

Me and my family went to this hotel for our Christmas Day meal as we knew a few people who had been here for occasions and had given it good reviews. We where seated at a window table which was lovely. After having our starters another group of six came in with two big smelly ugly dogs. Nothing was stated...

We booked our wedding breakfast and evening reception at Sefton Park Hotel and from the planning to the end of the night we had a wonderful, stress free occasion. Nadia and staff were fantastic, Conor the manager was very welcoming, we felt so special and supported. The food was exactly what we asked for, the room was set out just...

First impressions of this hotel were excellent, lovely old building in the stunning setting of Sefton park. The welcome was warm and the receptionist was pleasant, polite and offered tips on sight seeing and restaurants. Our rate included welcome drink, which wasn't mentioned but we had a nice drink in the bar overlooking the park while we waited for our...

Don't expect this to be a 4 star hotel. In life you get what you pay for and no more. My room was clean, above the bar, and was ok after 1130 pm. When I see that the last but one comment said Brilliant you must ask your self who made that report. This hotel is ok for one night....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Sefton Park Hotel is a beautifully restored Victorian Villa overlooking the Boating Lake in Sefton Park, the largest park in Liverpool. It is one of the original detached houses on the perimeter of the park where rich merchants and shipping magnates once lived in style. Today it offers a warm friendly welcome, comfortable accommodation and quality food and drink which is served in Astrid's Bar and Michelngelo's Italian Restaurant. More modern history confirms that 'The Blenheim' was, infact, the family home of the fifth Beatle, Stuart Sutcliffe in the 1960s. Stuart's family continued to live here until 1970. ... more   less

“The family room didn't look like it did on the photos. The light in the bathroom didn't work and the headboards are not attached to the beds. The room door would open with the key and the door wouldn't close properly.”
