We had 3 nights at the Aachen. First of all, the photo on trip advisor is not of the hotel. So don't be looking for that! I will post genuine photos with this review. Basically it is two houses made into one. Well appointed, clean and friendly. The dining room and bar area are modern and pleasant. The room was...

Stayed here for three week nights during a conference last week. Great value and very central to Liverpool, just a few minutes walk from Lime Street Station. The room and bathroom were very clean and every member of staff I encountered was helpful. Breakfast choices were basic continental (cereal, yogurt, fruit and toast) or cooked (full English or selection). Rooms...

The hotel is pretty old school, rooms pretty old school, bathrooms are clean. Wifi not the best. Location is decent so you can easily walk to Central in 5 minutes. Breakfast is so so unless you wanted cooked breakie which looked good. Staff are nice.

You will not mistake this for a 5 star hotel but it doesn't have 5 star prices either. The room was clean and comfortable, thought had been given to the facilities we might want ... microwave, small fridge ... and most important for me ... a mirror with good light where I can do my makeup. This is something that...

Decided on a last minute 2 day trip to Liverpool in the first week of August. Checked out many hotels on their own websites and on booking sites, many were still quite expensive but one that stood out was the Aachen with a very good 2 night offer including breakfast. It is within easy walking distance of Liverpool Lime Street,...

Spent two days here and couldn't fault it. Clean, lovely breakfast and staff go out of way to make you comfortable. Central to all the sights, near catholic cathedral and adelphi hotel. So much more character than the chain hotels. WiFi was slow if this is a problem but would definitely return. Fantastic value for money!

It is a nice place to spend a week end in Liverpool. The staff was friendly. The forniture has an old style, but if you like it, it makes a good athmosphere! Breakfast very english. A good position to visit the city. The only thing we didn't understand was , why we had to pay a day before leaving

Stayed here for two days last month. And it was really a very good experience. Fantastic staff, they are very helpful. Rooms are clean and cosy. Great location. All the important places are easily accessible from here. Walking distance from the Lime street railway station. Quiet neighbourhood area. Good eating options nearby. The breakfast in the morning was good. What...

Great location, good value, fantastic staff. Located within walking distance of Top of Town great for the pubs and shopping if you really want to, the staff are very friendly and a good breakfast included in the price. I will be going back there next time I go to Liverpool.

Really clean. Very good value for money. Fine breakfast choice. Stayed a couple of times. Has had a refit. Quiet when I stayed. Tea coffee in room good quality. All well kept and cared for. A gem for the price. Staff local and very nice. A lovely cheap place to stay in Scouseland!
