Decided on a last minute 2 day trip to Liverpool in the first week of August. Checked out many hotels on their own websites and on booking sites, many were still quite expensive but one that stood out was the Aachen with a very good 2 night offer including breakfast. It is within easy walking distance of Liverpool Lime Street,...

Spent two days here and couldn't fault it. Clean, lovely breakfast and staff go out of way to make you comfortable. Central to all the sights, near catholic cathedral and adelphi hotel. So much more character than the chain hotels. WiFi was slow if this is a problem but would definitely return. Fantastic value for money!

It is a nice place to spend a week end in Liverpool. The staff was friendly. The forniture has an old style, but if you like it, it makes a good athmosphere! Breakfast very english. A good position to visit the city. The only thing we didn't understand was , why we had to pay a day before leaving

Stayed here for two days last month. And it was really a very good experience. Fantastic staff, they are very helpful. Rooms are clean and cosy. Great location. All the important places are easily accessible from here. Walking distance from the Lime street railway station. Quiet neighbourhood area. Good eating options nearby. The breakfast in the morning was good. What...

Great location, good value, fantastic staff. Located within walking distance of Top of Town great for the pubs and shopping if you really want to, the staff are very friendly and a good breakfast included in the price. I will be going back there next time I go to Liverpool.

Really clean. Very good value for money. Fine breakfast choice. Stayed a couple of times. Has had a refit. Quiet when I stayed. Tea coffee in room good quality. All well kept and cared for. A gem for the price. Staff local and very nice. A lovely cheap place to stay in Scouseland!

Stayed here for my Liverpool University interview and it was a very convenient location. It's near a lot food places (lots of gross sheesha bars which I would avoid) and a Tesco. It's right in the middle of the city centre. The breakfast was fine and the staff were kind and friendly. I would recommend :)

This is a decent hotel within a 5 minute walk from the centre of the city centre, it's clean, it has a bed and it has a shower, just what you need when you have a heavy night drinking! And to top it all off, quite a decent breakfast is served the morning after the night before.

I spent 2 nights in this hotel and I loved it. the Staff are welcoming and helpful. The hotel is central not far from the Adelphi. Easy access and really well managed. The price for 2 nights with breakfast included was definitely a catch. I followed the advice found on Tripadvisor and ask for a room at the top of...

I stayed at the Aachen on a Bank Holiday Friday for one night with my teenage son. We chose the Aachen having had several unsuccessful attempts in the past to book as it was always sold out when we needed to travel - it was easy to see why! The Aachen is situated about halfway up Mount Pleasant on the...
