Lovely experience from start to finish. The rooms were stocked up with complimentary drinks in the mini fridge and there were plenty to last us for the night. The beds were comfy and huge! We went up to the 360 sky bar in the evening and it had a great atmosphere and definitely recommend.

Hotel's Favourite
Really welcoming, very clean, room was lovely and had a great view. The carpark was about a 10 minute walk away, felt safe enough and cost us £24 for 24 hours. Shops were also about 10-15 minutes walk. Breakfast was buffet style, also good, lots of choice of food and nice dining area. All in all a good comfortable stay, thank you!

Reading that it was part of the Melia brand, I was very excited to book this hotel but travelling the world, especially seeing the recent years and the growth in the industry, I was utterly disappointed. I thanked my stars it was just for 1 night as even during this night I wanted to change my stay. The staff is rude, were not even willing to help us with the luggage. For anything we asked at all, they were very uncooperative. The rooms were terrible. The layout was bad. Upon entering the room, you straight off see the basin and the shower. I have stayed in many open toilet hotels before, but this layout made it absolutely unworkable. The vanity drawer literally came in our hands so we understood we should not try opening any drawer or cupboards. The toilet had no toiletries. When we asked for a toothbrush and toothpaste, we were told even that is chargeable. There was no place to open the suitcase. There were no special or modern amenities or light controls. The bed had no rug so in the cool weather the room was absolutely cold and not cosy at all. Location is not that great. You can find cheaper and better hotels in better locations, I stayed in one during my previous visit, so I am saying with experience.…

Excellent hotel in a decent central location. Room was spacious with a floor-to-ceiling window, plenty of clothes storage, AC, fridge (with some complimentary drinks), huge bed, desk, rotary phone, bedside sockets/USBs and loads of lighting options. Felt very modern. 12pm checkout time is fantastic and I’d love that to be standard for the hotel world! It was £10 for our dog to stay with us- they provided a dog bed and water/food bowls, which was a nice touch. The nearest, secure and recommended car park was the Q Park- £24 for 24 hours so a massive rip off, but we got our room for less than £80 so overall not too bad. A deal between the hotel and a car park would be brilliant for guests. But I’m sure it’s never as easy as that. The only real downsides for me were- the mattress was on the firm side, the air con kept resetting to 21c warming, and we were only given 1 key card. I’m sure we could ask for another but it’d be nice to get 2 if there are 2 of you! Also the sky bar wasn’t dog friendly and we couldn’t keep our dog in the room (not that we would anyway) so there was no point the staff mentioning that we could get a discount there.. Staff seemed friendly and helpful enough. We didn’t eat or drink at the hotel as there’s loads of great options in the city. Overall 4.5 stars is about right.…

stayed here 10/03/23 excellent rooms lovely and clean and staff really freindly very spacious nice views nice breakfast very welcoming and fridge in room great with some complimentary drinks so overall great place to stay sky bar superb for relaxing my only small negative is downstairs bar closes early for people who want quiet time and the sky bar was told to sit down its table service unaware that i got charged a service charge which was not made aware of by any staff member or given the choice if i wanted to pay that or not i was just told the bill i think this hotel should make people aware of this or give them the option which did say on my receipt which i received after this

When I booked two rooms the only rooms offered on the website were for over £300 each. Thinking they were the only ones I booked them for my £70th birthday on Valentine’s Day. My sister then decided to stay so I looked to book another room - this was £134. I felt the website directed us to the more expensive rooms first. When I was booking in I asked at Reception if I could have Oat Milk in the room. The answer was ‘There is a Tesco’s down the road you can go there.’ When we got to breakfast the next day there was Oat Milk on offer. My daughter booked our meal separately from the rooms. We hadn’t been told about booking half board and receiving money off the meal. When I realised and asked if there was anything they could offer us they flatly refused. We had booked three rooms and a table for 11 spending more than £1000 for one nights stay. They wouldnt even allow us to have late checkout as a good will gesture.…

Amazing hotel! Everything is clean, towels replaced and room tidy daily. A lot bigger than it seems in the pictures as we just had a standard room but was excellent quality, and the view over Liverpool from the 16th floor where our room was located was amazing. Free mini bar restocked daily, steamer and Hairdryer, and shower is excellent and huge. Bed also huge and very comfortable. Told them it was my fiancé's birthday and they left him a balloon and card nice touch. Ate in the restaurant downstairs was 10/10 recommend highly! Couldn't recommend this hotel enough and will definitely be back. Centrally located so easy to walk into the center of town or uber to Anfield or Airport. Amazing stay, can't wait to come back!

Stayed here with my girlfriends for ones 60th birthday . Rooms are lovely tho exposed shower . Views of the city from 14th floor . Staff where nice and accommodating. We ate in Ginos restaurant for dinner which was gorgeous and only £25 each including Prosecco! We booked a table in the sky bar too which was great looking over the whole of the city lights . It’s lovely in there too , this was a Sunday night so not so busy , but could tell it would be a bit pretentious on a Saturday night . Would stay again and have been to ginos restaurant a few times since

!It doesn't get better than this" The Innside by Melia, Liverpool is amazing. We stayed there for business and social purposes 24th to 26th February and will definitely be going back there in July. The location, professionalism of all staff in this hotel are first class as are the facilities and rooms. We found it difficult to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go out in Liverpool as we were spoiled by the lovely Gino D' Campo Restaurants in the main hotel area and on "must visit" 360 degrees rooftop restaurant which serves food and drinks all day and is licensed until late at night/ early in the morning. What a classy set up in the hotel and the restaurants. We love The Melia Hotel chain having stayed at lots of their places, the Liverpool Hotel was a brilliant find and we will definitely be back early in July. When we checked in, the concierge upgraded us as I am a Melia member, he showed me 3 rooms to choose from. He was professional and really friendly. The room was lovely, spotless, Bed was large, super comfortable, there were free soft drinks in the mini fridge, nice touch. Shower was hot and the room was so quiet, lovely view of the river. We visited the sky bar for cocktails, and had breakfast. We enjoyed ourselves at the hotel from start to finish, staff were friendly, and drinks and food were also great. Will return when next in Liverpool
