This is a really lovely hotel and we were really pleased with our choice. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to drop our baggage off prior to check in to allow us time to see more of the city. Our room was was very clean with everything we needed and the bed was comfy. Overall,a great hotel within walking distance of main attractions. Would highly recommend this place.

Stayed here overnight this weekend. I had a free night on hotels.com and was looking for something close to Baltic Market as meeting up with 7 other friends who were staying nearby. Hotel was clean, comfortable and very funky. Literally could not have picked a greater location. Room was small but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Couldn’t check in any earlier than the designated 3pm so left my luggage with reception. When I came back to check in later, reception had already delivered my luggage to the room, nice touch! Impressed with the blinds and mini bar especially. Would definitely stay there again.

Not super impressed. No air con (which I should’ve spotted before I booked, but to be fair my room was £470 a night so I kind of expected air con). Double check before you book - if you’re paying over £200 a room you should expect air con and this hotel doesn’t offer it. It’s warm warm warm in the hotel and the windows in rooms are fully locked. Sweat box. Room really hot and windows don’t open at all. Got fans from reception. But not great. Bar had about 8 Draughts beers, and they were all “off” except two. Not great. Problems with gas on taps meant most products not available. Parking limited. Only business permit spaces. Car park over road is £15 a day but we waited nearly an hour for a free spot We’re on the fourth floor, and the lift is broke. Not great in a family room with three kids. Not worth the premium price by a long long shot. Poor facilities for the money. Go to Premier in for a quarter of the cost and you’ll get air con, lifts, and a bar full of all the beer choices you need

Hi Ben, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We don't advertise to have air-con or on-site parking, so I feel it is unfair to negatively review us on these aspects as you were made aware of this when booking. When the air-con unit from reception was brought up to the room I mentioned to let me know if the room still wasn't cool enough and I would bring more ice for you (as this is how the units work). I also had an extra unit available if it was needed but I didn't receive any further feedback so assumed all was fine, apologies that it wasn't. Unfortunately- unprecedented issues with the gas on the bar meant most of the draft was off but we do still have a large selection of canned and bottled beer available, as well as a range of spirits and specialty cocktails. With it being the weekend, this is far from ideal for us or our guests but unfortunately the issue was out of our control. The bay spaces around the hotel are business permit spaces but they are only active between the hours of 6pm and 8am. And with the two hours you are allowed to park for free- this means you are able to park there from 4pm until 10am. All you need to do is ask one of our friendly staff members and they'll inform you of this. We are also not affiliated with the car park opposite, so I am unable to comment or help in regard to your wait time. Our on-site lift is working as far as I am aware, we have had no issues reported to us in regards to this. Upon checking it after your feedback I can see no issues with it at this time. Sorry if there was a temporary issue with it last night that none of us were aware of- all you'd need to do is report this to one of our staff members who could have had a look into the problem for you. The room you booked sleeps 6 people, and the price reflects this. As well as the Liverpool home game last night so prices in the city are slightly higher considering this. When looking online we are one of the cheapest options, in the city centre, who sleep that many people. Premier Inns are upwards of £200 a night for 2-adults in a double room on a Saturday night, you could stay with them, but it certainly wouldn't be a quarter of the cost; And it's always nice to support independently run hotels over large chains. I am sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay as much as either one of us would have hoped- this isn't how we like our guests to leave their stay feeling. On check-out I did ask how everything was with your stay and you said you'd had a nice stay despite the room being a little warm so it's a shame you felt to write this review. Regards, Lauren- The Baltic Hotel

Such a great little find, from start to finish the team were amazing. Rooms spotless and the breakfast was fab. The location being just off main track but 5 mins walk makes this a perfect place to stay. The team really do make the stay second to none. Already booked to come back for races next year. Thank you all for not laughing at us forgetting our tickets and having to drive back to Yorkshire.

The hotel is really quirky in a lovely way. The staff are some of the best I have ever encountered. They are friendly, polite and can’t do enough to help with any requests you may have. Just spent 2 nights in this hotel and am pleased to say that I still have another 3 to go. Whoever owns this hotel should be absolutely proud of their team from the front desk right through to the bars and restaurants. I will certainly be back.

Had a fantastic time at The Baltic Hotel .We we’re greeted with such a warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door .The manager staff were amazing .So friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble . We were there for St Patrick’s Day so we sat in the lounge area of the stylish bar to start with ,then headed to the main bar .The atmosphere was terrific and again the bar staff were brilliant even though it was extra busy .The bar had live music so we ended up staying for quite a while before we headed into the City .Would highly recommend a visit tonThe Baltic hotel and will definitely be making a return visit ,thank you all!

Fabulous hotel. Brilliant location - so much to do in the Baltic area. Room was brilliant. Staff all nice. Breakfast was lovely. Will definitely visit again! Bed was so so comfy. Really clean. Loved the band posters. It was expensive but worth it! Side note: the bar next door was really noisy (I think it was that) music loud but I can sleep through anything and it doesn’t seem to be an issue with any of the other reviews on here so it might have been a one off. Also, no miniatures in bathroom but the actual shower gel and hand soap fixed to the wall was nice.

Oh my goodness what a find! Visiting for our son's graduation. We stayed in a super Groupy room for two nights, just checking out today and getting over the fact how much we were loved by the staff! They literally checked us in and took care of us from the word go!Room was through a separate door and simply stunning in decor, vibe and cleanliness x All meals were excellent, no query went unfixed with a genuine heart behind it. Thank you to the management of the Baltic for nurturing and building such a wonderful band of staff, they are indeed a credit to you all! Have a wonderful week and look forward to seeing you when next in Liverpool! Much love Vicki and Bob! Xx
