Food quality is horrible, fungus is free with their morning bread! Reported several times by the students who were there. If you go to their kitchen and open the fridge door, it’s too stinky as most of the foods are expired. This needs to be taken care of by the authority as IMGs are paying high rent for their rooms.

Newsham lodge is an excellent place for PLAB2 preparation....You will always feel motivated and never feel alone in those stressful days...Clean,lovely,quiet environment....You will find each and everything for comfortable living...The delicious breakfast is a lifesaver in the morning rush to the academy.

Firstly, my visit was fleeting and I didn't end up actually staying here. By way of background, I'd booked elsewhere to catch The Rolling Stones at nearby Anfield Stadium but - due to presumptuousness on the part of its proprietor - wasn't able to access the premises concerned initially (I thought it was perhaps a scam). Resigned to having to find somewhere else, I headed to Newsham Lodge not far from this venue after seeing the accommodation logo on Google Maps. I turned up on its doorstep completely unannounced and explained what had happened to an extremely helpful young woman who answered the door called Courtney. She wasn't responsible for managing bookings but managed to contact the individual who was by telephone and was able to get the thumbs up for me to stay there that night. Just as she did, however, the proprietor of the premises I'd originally booked telephoned me with instructions on how to access it. It transpired, then, that I didn't need to and so didn't book Newsham Lodge, but I was so impressed with Courtney and what I saw of it I felt compelled to leave a fitting review! She even apologised for having kept me waiting for just 10 mins or so despite having been given no notice whatsoever that I'd be showing up. (As an aside, Courtney explained that the accommodation usually just caters for doctors, and I mentioned that I happened to be one (technically, at least) and was able to corroborate this. The individual she spoke with via telephone who was responsible for bookings, however, seemed to not raise this matter with her.)…

This is the best accommodation near Dr MO academy. The land lady & the staff is wonderful . Clean & quiet place, perfect for studying. They provide you the breakfast. 10 mins walk to Dr Mo academy. Make sure you reserve at least 3 months prior to stay because it has a very high demand.

I stayed here for 2 weeks and honestly enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and had all the amenities I needed. The host and the team were lovely and made me feel like I was at home. They helped me with any quries I had and made my stay as comfortable as possible. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay in Liverpool.

After struggling to find a room on the usual sites, I scoured through Google maps, found Newsham lodge and the stay could not have been any better thank you. Room was exemplary as was the host. Booking was very easy. If I had to offer any advice and these are not negatives, glass shelf in bathroom was a little unstable and there was no complimentary shampoo / shower gel so make sure you take some. Towels were supplied. Sadly we did not get to try breakfast due to an appointment elsewhere. Beds were very comfortable, smelled amazing and lodge was peaceful. Easy to park and buses available within a minutes walk. I would highly recommend Newsham Lodge.

If u R looking for an accomodation to prepare for plab2 exam, newsham would be the best choice. It is a great place to stay in, quiet, clean, safe & feels like home. Tanya is a very nice person & all the staff there are helpful & welcoming. Wish all of them success always.

The room is very clean and tidy even the shared bathroom felt like a private one. The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly, I felt I was with family. Easy self check in 24/7. Great location and study place for PLABers. 10 mins walk to Mo Academy. 1 min walk to the bus station. There is nearby lovely park. Everything is perfect
