My 2 daughters & I were looking for a central budget hotel for 2 nights & PI was the cheapest of most. We were given room 131 - a triple room overlooking the dock walkway and with a brick ceiling, maybe there were restrictions being a listed building but it created a tired look But worse if all it meant the room from the room above/nextdoor was magnified across the metal beams on the roof. Additionally the room looked opposite directly into a neighbouring room, full eyeline window view to the beds - odd. At 5am on our 1st night we were woken by a very loud family next door who's children insisted on screaming & loudly chattering. I wear earplugs but could still hear it.. We lay there unable to go back to sleep, but I didn't want to leave my daughters in the room & wonder outside. At 9am I went down to the reception but was met with a luke warm response asking if I came to complain earlier to the night team - no as I didn't want to leave my kids in the room and come down in my dressing gown! They couldn't move us rooms (can’t believe this) but I was told the noisy family were leaving. However surprise surprise the new occupants also woke us up at 4.30am with drunken noises. I was told to call PI customer services. They said their T&C states I should’ve reported the noise at the time - no, the terms say .." internal hotel noise (which you have not reported and provided us with a reasonable period to rectify and it was safe for you to report it)" I felt it reasonable and safe at 9am, not 4.30am. Their Good Night Guarantee means nothing obviously. The acoustics of this room lead to any noise (unfortunately I had two noisy neighbours) just being magnified but I don't feel I was listened to. For £370 I do not expect this quality of service or stay.…
This hotel is in a great position in the Albert Dock, ideal for our stay. The staff are great and the hotel is very clean. We liked the decor at the hotel especially in the restaurant and at night it's very quiet, despite being where it is.I would recommend it.
Stayed for a night for my birthday the staff behind bar called Henry was really pleasant and helpful and the lady called Rasa hope that’s spelt right both really pleasant and helpful as was other staff didn’t get there name food was lovely as ever
Brought my boys to watch Disney at the M&S bank arena, the location was perfect, value for money was great, lovely views. Would definitely return for multiple reasons. The beds were very comfortable, room was spacious and there was a lovely little gift of a box of chocolate left with a little note for us, which was very sweet from the guy I spoke to earlier in the week with a question about my stay!
Great stay and view. I've stayed here before and would again. This premier inn is situated in a fantastic location, the team here at the hotel went above and beyond in particularly Georgia on nights who was on reception.
Lovely hotel perfect for when visiting the area like we did. Room had great view staff were friendly and welcoming Nice to have vending machines for snacks and drinks available Felt safe as you have to use key card to access hotel!
Shocking layout. Stayed here a number of times and now that they have doubled the size, you need a Sat Nav to find your room. God only knows how the managed to get past building regs. Exits not clearly marked and I wouldn’t want to be here in a fire. Besides this the hot water pressure is very poor and the windows are screwed shut. Made management aware of all the above.
We picked the hotel because a friend has walking problems and Albert dock has restaurants and bars nearby plus access to the Liverpool Explorer bus. The hotel didn't disappoint. The staff were helpful and the room was big and comfortable. The breakfast was self service and the quality of food was good. The in house bar was comfortable and a good place to finish of an evening.
The hotel is in a perfect location and we enjoyed our overnight Sunday night stay in Liverpool. The dock area seemed very quiet but we went just to have a nice meal and relax so it was fine. This premier inn isn’t the best, as others have said it definitely needs a revamp we were allocated room 436 over looking the docks the view was great and the shower was powerful, the staff seemed friendly enough and that was about it. The bed wasn’t that comfy, the room was tired the windows filthy and the corridors had a strange smell and it felt dirty. If we had paid more than what we paid (£42.50) for the night I would have been very upset but can’t really complain at the price. Would I stay again, yes only if it had a revamp and the price was right.
The rooms are not that clean and the TV's are tiny and outdated . The windows are locked so you cant get fresh air in and the room that I stayed in was very dark with not much day light. The rooms need a refurb
