Booked this hotel for a mother and daughter pamper stay for my daughters 21st Birthday back in August for our stay in October . Booked a package which consisted of bed breakfast with a spa package followed by a evening meal in the hotel restaurant my sole intention was to spend our full day and night in the hotel . However bang on 24 hours before our arrival ( option for free cancellation was also 24 hours before ) I received a call from the hotel casually announcing the restaurant was closed . As our stay was imminent I had no choice but to continue with the stay I did explain to the lady on the phone I was very disappointed as this stay was for my daughters 21st she apologised and said she would arrange something to be sent to the room ie chocolates wine ( nothing ever arrived ) Over all our stay especially the spa was very good it’s just a shame the above did happen . Upon check in I did ask about the restaurant closure the lovely check in lady explained they was in the middle of a menu and staff change in the restaurant and it had led to a delay of the reopening pre COVID , this delay is something they would have surly known about prior to 24 hours before .

I stayed in the Double Tree in September. I had some issues with the Covid testing for travel and the staff was so very helpful. I wish I could remember all of there names but I can't. I liked everything about this hotel.

The Canon suite where we ate and the bar in the library next door was perfect accommodation for our group. Service from all the staff was exemplary, ably lead by Silvi who was our coordinator for the evening. Rooms were all clean and comfortable. Thank you!

Double Tree Hilton Liverpool Room 503 16th September 2021 2 nights stay b&b Parking is just 3 mins walk away at moorfields NCP car park £12 per day by arrangement with the hotel, otherwise could be £26 a day! We checked in early at 2pm and our room was ready. Room overlooks huge building work opposite and windows do not open. One day we hope for a room with an actual view. Nice room, fab bathroom shower big enough for a family of 6! Good quality toiletries provided. Nice big towels. No here's all about it book and not much tea and coffee stuff for 2 nights 4 little pots of milk 🙄😒 no biscuits, I love hotel biscuits 😢 NO wi fi code, no one answering at reception, had to go down and ask. The shower wouldn't drain away and caused a flood on floor, we put towels down and again no one answering reception, I even phoned from my mobile and no answer 🙄 told them in the morning after breakfast and literally 5 mins later someone was there to fix it, with fresh towels too 😊 it flooded again on next shower! Bed was comfy and pillows gorgeous. Room spotlessly clean. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, loads of choice, all buffet style, but beautifully presented and plentiful. The hotel is just a short walk away from the main town centre and the Albert Docks and the museums which are fantastic and free to get in too. Would definitely use this hotel again, just hope for a nicer outlook next time.

We booked this hotel specifically for the spa, website said discount for guests but it was £25 per person per hour, the jacuzzi was broken so we ended up not using the spa at all. Breakfast were cold both mornings and our room was very claustrophobic as no proper windows and no instructions to sort out the air con. Hotel was stifling hot so overall a very uncomfortable stay. That said the location was excellent and the staff were friendly enough.
