The Throstles Nest Pub is a wonderful pub that I love visiting, a warm,inviting pub and the last remaining pub along Scotland Road. Great pub interior, it's traditional, lovely decor and furnishings including a superb looking serving bar, its a hotel as well ,never stopped here ,only ever used the pub facilities, beer range is good,service is warm and welcoming, all in all its a wonderful pub to check out if you're in the area and easy to locate along Scotland Road.

This is a great place to stay if you're visiting liverpool. It's not quite in the centre, but is a very short taxi ride away and a short walk (make sure you find the fastest route beforehand, as we ended up accidentally walking a much longer way). The room itself was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. All the staff we met were lovely and very friendly. I informed them beforehand i was vegan and they made a special effort to get things in that i could eat for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

Brilliant warm friendly hotel. Great location and Kevin is a great host. Good breakfast with lots of choices. Central location to Liverpool city and we had a nice 20min walk to Anfield stadium to watch the match. Liverpool is a great city with friendly people! I will be back Kevin YNWA.

Friday and Saturday nights at Throstles Nest Hotel met our needs perfectly. Owner/manager was very friendly, helpful and informative. Enjoyed excellent breakfasts. Easy to get taxi for short ride into City centre. Also, enjoyed walking it and walking back from Anfield. No restaurant for evening meal which booking site hadn't made clear. View of hotel on booking site was misleading.

Our night stay at the Throstles Hotel was perfect for a weekend in the city and really made up for the poor football match! From the moment we walked in, Kevin and his team were so welcoming and made us feel like family. The breakfast the following morning was an added extra and finished off our stay nicely. Would highly recommend the Throstles Nest; friendly and comfortable, and perfect location if you are attending a football match at Goodison or Anfield.

We went to Liverpool to see a football match, which Liverpool ended up winning, but that wasn’t the only factor that made us happy. The staff at the hotel was very polite and helpful. 10/10 would go again

My husband and I, enjoy weekends in Liverpool, whenever we can. We were fortunate to have visited 2 weeks ago, and always stay at Throstles Nest, guaranteed a lovely warm welcome, the rooms are always spotless, and the breakfast sets you up for the day. It is ideally situated, between Anfield and Liverpool 1. We are already arranging another weekend away, and our 1st port of call will definitely be Throstles Nest Hotel. Kevin, Karen and staff, keep up the good work.

Can only say good things about the Throstles. The room was a good size for 3 of us and very clean. There is a pub connected to the hotel that is perfect for a pre game or pre town pint. Prices are very reasonable. The best thing about the Throstles though is the owners. They can't do enough for you. Kevin is an absolute legend and will go out of his way to do anything for you. I owe him a big thank you. This will be our go to hotel on our future visits to Liverpool..
