The Pullman Liverpool hotel stands out for its vibrant atmosphere, complete with live music and modern decor, and is celebrated for its spotless and spacious rooms that boast comfortable beds and striking views. Guests have called out the hotel's excellent service and the convenience of its amenities, though some feel the value proposition is marred by pricey extras. The hotel's location garners high marks for its scenic proximity to local attractions and ease of access, despite occasional feedback about it being somewhat removed from certain points of interest.

Firstly, let me recommend a room to you, 810. This room is on the top floor and has views out over the City with the Mersey, the Liver Building, Albert Docks, the Wheel of Liverpool, the Radio City Tower (and even Anfield in the distance) all on show, it is a glorious sight to behold and to watch the world go by, whilst drinking a coffee.

NB: I think it may even be the room from which the "Management" photos were taken.

Now let me share another secret with you, this hotel is minutes walk away from Liverpool One and the bustling City Centre. Yet it is in a quiet and peaceful setting because it is just far enough away from all the hustle and bustle to guarantee a completely restful night. That extra 500m also saves you a fortune over another hotel (owned by an American Family) and you know what, the quality of service from the staff and the hotel overall, is better.

The rooms are well appointed, with a rainfall shower bathroom and state of the art TV's (including all the UK Sports channels). There is fast Wi-Fi (streaming in HD is no problem at all), free bottled water, room fridge (Silent) and USB charging in all sockets.

The breakfast is superb and is well worth including if you can do so in an offer... Otherwise it can get quite pricey.

There is parting nearby a new multi-story (Opening Summer 2020) sits behind the hotel and currently there is a "temporary" Council owned car park which charges a (somewhat expensive) £15 a day. I don't expect that the new car park will be any cheaper so factor that in when you travel.

I would seriously consider this hotel if you are travelling to Liverpool.

Lovely warm welcome at the hotel. Once in the room, I logged in to the complimentary WiFi and it took me to a page asking me for initial feedbackAnd what could be improved. I happened to mention that it Would have been nice if a biscuit was provided on the tea/coffee tray in the room. We then went out for a walk and when we got back to the room, housekeeping had left a lovely personalised handwritten note along with a few brownie pieces in the room. They asked what could be improved and acted on the feedback. What more can you expect?

The location of the hotel is perfect, a minute or two from Albert Dock, which has a lovely buzzing atmosphere. It would appear the hotel is relatively new as it is in pristine condition and the room was very tastefully decorated to an extremely high standard. Well worth the price we paid.

Our second visit and although we knew what to expect, this time it exceeded our expectations, Check in was brilliant, the reception staff were so professional and helpful, an excellent first impression. Our room was superb with views of the river and the city with all the usual facilities only better. A very comfortable bed, plenty of tea/coffee etc plus an expresso coffee machine, Bathroom was very modern with lots of lovely toiletries and large fluffy towels. Breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast we have experienced. An amazing cold buffet with lovely fresh fruit, nuts cold meats etc and hot buffet with bacon, eggs and sausages etc. Service overall was excellent from all the staff. Car parking is a 2 minute walk away and a rreasonable £15 for 24 hours. Location is very good being a short walk to the Albert dock museums etc and 10 minutes to the city centre shops, restaurants and bars, Will definitely return.

We have just arrived home from four nights at the Pullman Liverpool. The stay was truly faultless, with the current Covid situation being very well covered, hand sanitiser everywhere, anti bac wipes in the lift and sealed breakfast/mini bar items delivered to the room every day, we never once felt unsafe as everywhere was spotlessly clean too.
The hotel itself is in a Prime location just five minutes walk to the Albert Dock with all the quirky shops, bars and restaurants, the Beatles Story and about eight minutes to the main Liverpool one shopping area. Although the area was really quiet I would imagine it being very busy under normal circumstances (It is next door to a huge venue, the hotel even has direct tunnel access).
Our room on the second floor was lovely with a bath, walk in shower and mini bar included as well as free movies too. The staff were so helpful especially Becky and Lindsey who couldn’t have been any nicer or more helpful. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will definitely be returning!

Just got back from a short stay here. Beautiful and modern hotel right by the docks. Perfect location as only a short walk from everywhere we wanted to go. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely view across the docks. Room was very clean and had all that was needed plus quirky little extras such as non steam mirror in bathroom, light up wardrobe and you could even purchase a dressing gown if needed. All the usuals in the room, iron, fridge, hairdryer etc. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff for an enjoyable stay.

Saw this place on trivago when searching a place to stay for a few nights away in Liverpool for my partners birthday and definitely picked the right hotel. Good price considering it’s a high quality establishment in a brill location right by the arena, wheel and Albert docks and 10 minutes walk into liverpool one, 15 minutes to the three graces etc. Great room, everything inside worked perfectly .. a hotel first! Clean and tidy with a comfy enough bed. The buffet breakfast was absolutely delicious and so much to choose from. Really nice Marco Pierre white restaurant for evening meals which was decent value considering the brand. Then at was classy and comfy too. Great place to spend the last hour or so after a meal.
The only 2 issues was the key card kept failing to work which was a ball ache going up and down lifts to fetch someone. However it was rectified immediately and in a very friendly helpful way so it didn’t feel like such a problem ... and the maids didn’t top up the breakfast tea, milk or sweetners between nights so we had to call room service who sorted it within 5 minutes! So that’s really very good efficient and friendly staff! I can definitely recommend it and would stay again if in Liverpool!

Stayed here for one night while having a short weekend away in Liverpool. The hotel was modern and very clean. We stayed in standard a room (superior king) - it was a good size and bathroom was lovely - huge walk in shower with great pressure and temperature. The TV was huge and the air con was great.

We parked at the temporary waterfront car park which is just a 1min walk from the hotel - it was £15 for 24hrs which we didn’t mind paying.

Hotel is in a very good location, close to Albert docks and Liverpool one.

Will be staying here again :)

Staff were lovely and welcoming no faults there. Great big comfy bed. Continental bagged breakfast was excellent and exceeded expectations, plenty of choice and huge. That said neighbouring hotels with lower rating are offering hot/cooked options so several months into reopening it would have been nice to have the choice. Room clean. There were just a few niggles. I felt for 4* it was a bit basic, no bells or whistles. One robe/slippers for two people? Bit strange. Also no soap or hand wash in the bathroom which in the current climate seemed a bit of an oversight, had to dip into the miniature shower gel every toilet visit. Standard kettle with basic Nescafé sachets no biccies or extras. No bottle opener/corkscrew on the refreshment tray. For a 4* we just weren’t wowed and it didn’t feel very special or luxe. These criticisms are more for management as the staff were clearly fab with levels of cleanliness etc excellent. Overall the price hike for staying in a 4* just wasn’t worth it as the standards/experience and amenities in the surrounding 3* hotels are as good if not better.

Arrived on a mini break away for one night and location was perfect, near restaurants and right next to Albert Dock and only a 10 min walk from Liverpool one. We Only Realised after that we had paid for an executive room with a dock view but we didn’t get this dock view however executive room was nice so not a problem- although we didn’t get some of the facilities that were mentioned in the price, for example bathrobe and slippers. Lovely room and bathroom with great TV and massive bed, and also came with iPod dock which was nice. Also paid for breakfast however due to Covid restaurant was not open so we had it delivered to room which was fine, however we could have gotten more selection for what we paid for as mainly just bread and croissants. Staff were very friendly, offering to bring up whatever we needed. I would say for the price we paid and due to the hotel being fairly empty (I saw one other guest during the whole night stay) we could have gotten a lot more for the price we paid, but generally a nice hotel in a great location and the staff were very helpful.

Pullman Liverpool is very good business hotel on an attractive location at the river shore.
Rooms are big, bathroom is also very comfortable and it has all needed amenities.
I got a room on the 8th floor which had decent view.
I would highly recommend the food in this place. For a very good price we got a good steak and a glass of wine and breakfast was rich and tasty.
There is also a gym on the 2nd floor where you can do a basic training. Cardio plus some basic weights.
The only remark that I have is about heating. When I entered the room it was set to 18C. Outside was cold and windy. Around 5C. I needed more than 3 hours to bring temperature in my room to 20-21C. I know that for UK it's normal to have a bit colder rooms in general, but for me this was a bit too cold.
