I came into London to see a band, and booked this hotel as a bonus treat. Fantastic location for train, tube, clipper boat and stunning views of the Tower Of London and Thames beyond it. The mood and tone of the place is set the minute you walk in the lobby - it has more in common with the shopping experience in an Apple Store than a traditional hotel check in. Informal and welcoming. The room felt like something out of a airport first class lounge - and I mean that as a compliment. The shower was a giant pod, the whole room ran off a tablet, the bed went wall to wall with the automated blind above it. It felt incredibly futuristic, and as a result, great fun. I would happily stay here again.
This was my second stay at the Tower location for business trips. Functional room with black out binds and an amazing rain shower. Great breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Walking distance to all the office towers. Would definitely recommend this Hotel!
5 out of 5 would most deffinietly reccomend! A combinsation of the Tech & Staff make the expereicne for me! Massive shout out to the team at CitizenM Tower of London for making the place what it is!!!
We had a great time in London and we loved our CitizenM stay by London Tower Bridge. The station was super convenient. The rooms were comfy and we loved the bed. Also the iPad and all the amenities were a plus. The rooms are not super big but the layout helps. With the iPad you control lights, blinds and TV. I will come back.
This hotel is a must stay for a very convenient location and has the best styling of any place I’ve been to. Loved the overall vibe of this place. I thought it was extremely affordable for all that you get.
Terrible, while the hotel was nice it has a nice, the location is good. I was given room 456, it seems there was a constant loud room coming from the top from what it seems the pipes or ac, this was a loud sound coming every 5 minutes which didn’t allow me to sleep. They only response was “so sorry” unacceptable
Expensive but, it was 100% worth it! We had an amazing experience and we couldn't have imagined a better place to stay! The people were so kind the room was mind blowing! You have many options to choose from whether it's the settings in the room or breakfast. 10/10
Stayed here for 3 occasions within 6 weeks, I had a very thorough experience. All the room on 1/F facing outside are bad, people can see through the window and extra noisy. 5/F upwards means better view. Rooms are not sound proofing at all, you can hear all the traffic and people walking by, on all the floors that I have stayed in. Plus I can hear the food steps outside my room with the massive door gap. Hotel and rooms are generally dusty, window side next to the bed and all the shelves in the lobby above 5ft. Quirky fun shower with fancy lights but it is a pod within the room after all, the sink doesn't even fit in it. Ibis does the same thing but at least they have bigger room. The accessable room probably is the best kind I have ever seen, sightly too low tho. Weird rectangular flashing lights from the vend + noise outside = keeping me up all night Breakfast are below average, lacking basic item, Vege options and coffee took forever. Great handmade coffee tho! No tea or coffee in room means you have to spend money to get the basic. They have all the fancy tea which is good but lacking basic decaf which is a joke. Food menu were also very basic. You may want to order takeaways if the weather is bad. No toliet papers, filthy floor and bins need emptying in the basement toliet and the staff were used to it. Lifts were very slow or constantly slow. Someone decided to email all the guest an update and exposed everyone's email which is very poor. Nice staff if you were lucky. I had really cold service and very lovely staffs during all of my stays. Great ice-cream and coffee but that's about the only item that I enjoy from the menu. Totally appreciate the concept but I think the hotel needs to get the basic right first.…
Superior destination and bed, if that what you need - go for it! But a lot of things to care about yourself, so if you lazy enough (I am!) it is quite annoying in the end. Cleaning is by default selected once a three days, to change that you need to open tablet and change yourself- oh no-:( Very helpful personnel, but sometimes annoying stalls of the IT systems (room card not working etc)
Check in was drawn out as system had my name misspelt. Eventually resolved manually. On arrival note of the ipad tech in the room worked. A new ipad had to be obtained. Not what you need after a long day. Breakfast is expensive and poor value. Lifts are very poor. Waiting for one is a bit like a game of roulette. Allow time if you need to leave the hotel for an appointment.
