Staying at London Central in July 2013 was my first hostel experience, and it far exceeded my expectations. As a first time solo traveller, i was a little nervous when I arrived in London, but once I settled in the hostel, I was quickly feeling comfortable. I stayed in a 4 bed female dorm, which was very clean and nice....

I stayed in a 6 room, female dorm in July for 6 nights. We were in London when there was a rare week of sunshine and high temperatures. I was on the top bunk and it got really hot. There was only a small fan (one that goes on a desk normally), which couldn't really reach the top bunk. Other...

I was apprehensive about a hostel at first, but this place passed all my expectations of what a hostel is like. We had a nice small room with 6 beds but they all weren't filled every night so it wasn't crowded. I loved the common area, they sell food and drinks plus you can get discounts on things to do...

I stayed in a 6 bed room. my bed was cornered in with a tiny gap beside to wall to squeeze up and get into the bed, so naturally it was extremely hot with no airflow. The window barely opened and the other girls in the room closed it to reduce noise. ok for them, they had the only 2...

Nice location, good rooms and it's near the famous places in London. But you need to know somethings before going if you think this is a normal hostel that you receive many things. First, you gotta pay for breakfast and it is NOT cheap, around 5 pounds for the whole meal. Second, wi-fi is also paid and it does not...

Great helpful staff, James especially. Room kind of smelt but compared to other hostel it was fine. Free baggage storage and free wifi downstairs for YHA members (5£ to sign up). Very close to the tube and to Oxford street. In good weather it's also in walking distance from many places. Barely loud at all at night. We enjoyed our...

We were 6 in a room with private bathroom. Very clean, young staff, convenient with buses and tube. The only negative aspect: the room was very hot, with only a small fan. I'll go back again the next time I'll be in London!

Very clean room and cheap hostel (20 pounds/night/person). It's nice and good value for the money. Stayed in a 4-bed dorm with private bathroom/shower. Nice common lounge. 5 minute walk to oxford street.

Pre-booked the hostel for a 3-day/night visit to London. Booked a 6-bed female dorm room (with own shower & toilet rooms). The location is quite good, as other reviewers have stated there's a couple tube stations within short walking distance, and some restaurants and cafes around, including chains like Starbucks and Pizza Express; there are also a couple convenience stores...

5 min walk to Oxford street, lots of nice cafe near by. Hostel is very clean and tidy. But as with all yha everything is extra, wireless Internet, towels, locks etc. wireless only works in reception/bar area and kitchen. Front desk staff are very hit and miss and you feel like you are interrupting them when you ask a question....
