We had a wonderful welcome from Julia. The room was a good size, with a small garden, for our use only, just through the French doors. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. It's well situated, just a short walk from Greenwich Park, the DLR railway and the boats to central London. We'll stay there again, happy to spend...

Very happy with our one night stay, great location to explore Greenwich. Julia was the perfect host, the rooms are very good, (the garden room in particular is lovely), and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. Would definitely stay again, much better value than the hotel chains.

We recently spent 3 days at no37 and couldnt fault it. The garden room was beautifully furnished and spacious. As mentioned by others it fealt like an oasis of calm.. The location is excellent - within a few minutes walk of bars, restaurants, museums and good transport links. We were well looked after by Julia the owner who prepared a...

This was a lovely place to stay. We had the garden room - a double bed and an extra single- with private bathroom and access to the courtyard. The hosts were very warm, welcoming and helpful. It was great to return to a quiet and comfortable room after the hustle and bustle of central London (we took the clipper up...

Having looked at the hotel alternatives in the Greenwich and decided they were overpriced (even for London) I happened upon Number 37 and was glad I did. My wife and I stayed for three nights, partly as a birthday treat for me and partly to see my son (studying at nearby Trinity Laban) in his first year show. Nothing was...

When we are in England we always prefer B&Bs and when we were looking for one in Greenwich, we had come accross Number 37. At once I knew that it would be the one that we were looking for, and now, after our trip, I dare say that we have not been disappointed. Number 37 is ideally located in the...

What I needed was a warm, quiet, friendly, welcoming place with a good, strengthening breakfast and high sleep quality. I was not disappointed! This is one of the nicest B&Bs I've stayed in. Thanks again, Julia! (And I'm so sorry for not writing my review sooner...!)

We couldn't have had a better breakfast, night's sleep or welcome. Simply excellent. Between us we requested a wheat free and a dairy free breakfast - both of which were delicious. The room was spacious and comfy with an interesting selection of books and tasteful decor. Why can't all accommodation in the UK be this good? Sara

We had a very enjoyable stay at Number 37. Julia was extremely welcoming - the cake and tea on arrival was a nice touch and tasted great too. We were in London to watch a show in the West End and, although Greenwich is a bit far from the centre, it was easily reachable by boat/train. We took the boat...

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
