The CityStay is ideally located if you are looking for a budget choice close to the Excel Centre or City of London. It's next to Bow Church DLR and 2 minutes walk from Bow Road station on the District line. the London hire bikes haven't yet quite reached Bow Road, though the Devons Road docking station is within reach. This...

I found it adequate for my needs. I was only there one night and the shower was good and the bed comfortable. It is well located to both metro/Dlr stations of Bow road and Bow church. Easy to switch one stop up the line at Mile end Even a longer stay I would be happy with it being on a...

This time I lasted in the main building of the hotel. The room just above the entrance, on the corner. Room was adequate and heating was excellent! Reliable heating in both the room and bathroom. Linen and towels always bright white and clean. Breakfast room and kitchen are always delightful. Great for what I paid! My only critic is the...

We travelled as 2 couples from Greece and we arrived easily at the place of the hotel, which is indeed 2 minites walk from the metro station or 1 minite away from the bus station! If you take the metro you are very close to the center if you think the big size of London (10-15 minites for most things...

I booked this hotel for two nights for my daughters birthday. It says all rooms en suite but when I got there, it was shared. It was dirty, dark and gloomy. I thought it had an energy bulb making it dark, but I looked up and five bulbs were missing out of the light fitting. I put the lamp on...

The hotel is in a great location right next to Bow station on the DLR line and not far from underground. The hotel is basic, but ok. The shower, however, was awful. There was no cold water at all coming out of the shower - tried to adjust but scolding matter what. Told the person on the desk 4 separate...

Romanian lady who cleaned rooms, changed sheets and towels particularly nice and friendly - didn't get her name, but we chatted when we met. Breakfast room and kitchen excellent with plenty of basic foods. Washing up ones plates and bowls - no problem! Area...

The hotel is a budget hotel and so I was expecting it to be pretty nasty. I hadn't planned on spending a lot of time there and so I felt ok about that. However, it was clean, spacious and there were even toiletries left out with clean towels each day. It was relatively cheap and really well positioned for east...
