hotel websites put their reputation on jeopardy by listing this place. For $119 (everyone else paid 30 pounds except me from Lonely Planet), a damp basement room with very strong scent of sewer! when i checked in after a long day at the Olympia conference center, (booking through Lonely Planet), i was given a electronic key to a basement room....

Ok if your paying 30 a night but not worth more than that, was adequately clean and staff polite but rooms are extremely small, I could quite literally have a shower while sat on the toilet.

I was a bit sceptical about this hotel as the reviews are no impressive. Although I was positively surprised. Probably there was some refurbishment (I don't know) but my room looked almost new. The hotel is very well located, the room was clean and the bathroom with shower was very clean and looked very good (not old at all). The...

I don't think I have ever in my life seen anything so horrible! The room was like a cupboard! It was dirty and the bed was held up by some kind of log!! Not even enough room to get changed, the staff looked like they were from a horror film! Do not stay, I recommend sleeping on a park bench...

Upon arrival we were asked to pay up front but this policy is on their website so you can't really argue. The room we had was...

This is probably the worst hotel in the world. Rooms are extremly small, some are even in the basement outside the main building. Never go there!!!

After a business trip in London I've decided to stay for a weekend there as a tourist. Since I have had limited budget and only two days left I've chosen a hotel which was located near to the center. Seems it was a completely wrong decision. The hotel is located rather far (20 mins walking) from the nearest metro station....

Booked this hotel on expedia for one night staying on business in central London. Checked in and was allocated a single room, only to find it was the basement room outside the building (like the cellar of a terraced house). The room was small, stuffy and full of mildew and damp (I even took photos). Although the bathroom was clean...
