Had a one bed apartment on 3rd floor. Lift so small only just fits in 2 people with 2 bags! So we used stairs most of the time. Bed was very hard and you can feel the springs. Small shower room. Large lounge and kitchen area. Well equipped kitchen. You need to take ID. Either passport or driving license to...

Dear TravellingSolo_11 Thank you for sharing your review on TripAdvisor. We will look into your comments about the hard bed, and make sure there is no issue with the springs. We find that many customers prefer a slightly harder mattress, although this is really down to personal preference. For the safety and security of all guests we ask for PhotoID...

We stayed at The Harrington with our family for one week this past June. The location is excellent with only a two minute walk to the Gloucester Road Tube Station. There are a lot of great restaurants and shops in the area. We felt this is one of the best areas to stay in London as it is a convenient...

Dear JMH1986, Thank you for taking the time to write with feedback. Our 2 bedroom apartments are indeed a good size for families. We continually monitor our apartments and have taken on board our comments regarding the general décor and maintenance of the apartment. Kind regards, Patrick MacPhail

I been to this hotel 3 times with my family and I cannot say enough great things about the hotel and staff. The only reason I am giving 4 stars vs 5 is because the apartments are so outdated and has water infiltration.

We had our 6month old daughter with us and stayed in this gorgeous little studio style apartment which was basically underground - we had skylights along the roof which were built into the footpath above us. It was cool and different and we loved our little bunker away from the bustle of London when we had enough sightseeing in this...

What a disappointment. Photos were misleading. Service with a smile non existent. Didnt even acknowledge our presence whenever we walked through the foyer. No nod of head or even eye contact. .With such a high price would have expected a higher standard and a few more utensils and pans in the kitchen. There was insufficient to cook anything when we...

The Harrington is located in the perfect location for sight seeing in London , within walking distance to Gloucester Road Station . We found the staff friendly and helpful . This was our 3rd visit to the Harrington. The location is amazing, so close to the underground, plenty of buses, restaurants and a good size waitrose which was very convenient. We had a large one bedroom apartment which was more than adequate for us, a separate kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and lounge. The first time we stayed everything was new but...

Dear 186220Linda, Thank you for once again staying at The Harrington, we really do enjoy seeing people coming back to stay. Please note that the reason for the photoID policy is to ensure the security and wellbeing of all our guests. Although this is not always the policy of other hotels, given that we also cater for longer staying guests,...

Can't really beat the location of these apartments. Our apartment was incredibly spacious for Central London, with en suites and a handy kitchen with all the equipment we would need. The apartment was in good condition. Friendly and efficient service and very accommodating in terms of storing our luggage for us prior to check in and after check out too....

clean friendly only a small lift near tube station, nice area of London out of the hustle bustle of city. Enjoyed my stay even though it was a very warm night after a concert at The Royal Opera House. Very happy to stay again big thank you to Sorella Candlepin for her help on arrival

Arrived rather late after a busy work day. The hotel is ideally suited close to Gloucester Rd Tube and a big Waitrose, plenty of restaurants in the area too. Dear Happyholidaygirl059, Thank you for taking the time to review our serviced apartments. Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
