Went there for 1 Night , the day before my UNI exam...didn't sleep well , seems like people live there as resident , not for tourist or traveller people at all. is good price and good location but the place is horrible. not internet in the rooms ...not recommend

Cheap stay close to Bayswater with cosy dorms with en-suite basin and shower. Many things would need upgrade and maintenance though, from door locks to common bathrooms. Breakfast's not served but refreshment are available for purchase. Also only cash payments are accepted, even for the room.

I stayed in the 6 bed female dorm and all in all my stay was good. Space is a bit tight in the hostel but looking at where the hostel is located, you don't want to spend the whole day in the hostel anyway. The bathrooms and bedroom was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. I arrived quite early...

I have stayed in various hostels across Europe and North America and this is by far the worst hostel I have ever encountered in my entire life. Perhaps you may be tempted by the central location and the cheap price... DO NOT BOTHER. There are NO LADDERS to upper bunks and customers are advised to use a chair to hoist...

It covers what a Hostel should cover. A room, a bathroom, a kitchen (quite small). The installations are not the best, but are basic and useful. It's small and crowded at times but Staff is kind, and the enviroment is good, my friends and I met friendly people from around the world.

this was by far the worst hostel I have EVER stayed in...i felt very unsafe, locking my stuff every time i left the room even to use the bathroom. There was also some black mold that I didn't see until the last day of our stay (we were there for 3 nights) and I later felt the effects of sleeping...

Honestly, don't convince yourself this place will be worth it due to its central location because your stay in London will run the possible course of being ruined if you do so. Trust all the bad reviews you may read here about this place because they are most likely true. My friend and I didn't even get passed check in...

The photos on the website must be after it was built, since then it had 'changed', the negative reviews explain everything. I would like to add thought, that you get what you pay for. The lounge area is full with 10 people in it, there are some dodgy plugs for your laptops, mobiles etc. The decoration really needs doing. The...

The hostel has a homely feel which is a nice characteristic to have. The staff are very obliging and friendly and the tariff rates are excellent. It is a bit cramped and small but for a 'central' hostel in the capital it is perfectly adequate. WiFi is free but isn't the best signal (still usable), sadly no lockers available (keep...

Firstly cannot fault the location, very central. However this is where the positive end. Hostel was smelly and small, we stayed in a girls dorm and there was only one plug that worked for six people which is ludicrous. Nowhere near enough bathrooms for the number of people, toilets were nearly always blocked. Shower was nice and hot, but the...

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
