This is a seriously good hotel - we have just stayed 6 nights and was seriously impressed. The rooms are so comfortable and have never slept in such a good bed in years. The full hot breakfast is included and we were astounded at the quality and range of items - if you need to be in this area of London this is a no brainer. Honestly cannot stress enough and we will be staying at this hotel chain from now on!!!!! For info the accessible is extremely generous - twin 'queen' size beds and super bathroom with wet room.
We recently stayed three nights in this Hampton by Hilton and enjoyed our stay. On arrival, the staff managed to get me check into my family room early (as there was room available), which allowed me to have an important video conferencing early in the morning. The attention and service provided by friendly staff was very appreciated. The hotel is well-located in a less busy part of London (near London City Airport) in zone 3, but with transportation system, you could be in the centre of London in 30 minutes on DLR. There are actually quite a lot of hotels in that area and I felt very safe walking around. Our family room was very modern and well maintained. It has a double bed and a sofa bed. Free WIFI, tea and coffee making facility, safe, etc. The double bed was much more comfortable, compared to sofa bed. Our room rates came with free breakfast. Selection of breakfast was a bit less compared to Double Tree that we stayed previously, but there were sufficient hot foods and others to everyone's taste. The only complaint was breakfast time was only until 9:30am, where normally you have until 10am or 10:30am in other hotels. Due to Covid restriction, there was no house-keeping services, but you can request one if you wish and we got our tea and coffee refilled everyday at reception. I paid around £177 for three nights in this hotel and very satisfied with the quality and services that I received. I will definitely recommend this Hilton to those visiting London and will consider return to stay here again in future.…
I’ve stayed at the moxy next door and liked the area so tried this hotel. The check in was fast and very friendly, also let me check in an hour early which was a huge bonus after travelling. Super close to the DLR station and also a gorgeous walk along the river with views of the city airport. Large room with most things you could require and a large bathroom and sofa. Unfortunately sanitation bags and bin liners weren’t in the room which is unusual. The other thing I found disappointing was the fact they no longer have breakfast trays so you can choose your options and carry them back to your room with ease. As a solo traveler I prefer to eat in the comfort of my room, I also have a disability and carrying items without a tray and struggling with the lift and room key proved very difficult. When I mentioned it to the lady working on the early breakfast shift, she was very abrupt almost verging on rude about it so I didn’t bother again. She also shouted at me for using the waffle machine incorrectly but as it was my first time ever and there weren’t any instructions how was I to know? All In all a nice visit and I would stay again, the room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious with good choices.…
This was my 4th time staying here! It’s a brilliant hotel in an excellent location for the O2 arena and London City airport! Always clean, beds really comfortable and breakfast always great! Staff brilliant here as well! Looking forward to staying here again in March 2023! Highly recommend!
Hotel was nice and clean. Quite basic but had everything you need and beds are comfy. The room had aircon too which is a bonus as it was a hot night. Breakfast is brilliant lots of choice. Staff very helpful and friendly. This hotel is quite a way out of central london - approx 50 mins to get to Piccadilly or Westminster. Although quite far out has great public transport lines - DLR is 5 minute walk from the hotel and can then get on the underground from Canning Town. All in all a good option for a few days in London
Good location, breakfast was excellent and the rooms are comfortable and very clean. Staff is very friendly and help you with all your requests. The cafeteria is also worth a try. Highly recommended..
Stayed here for 2 nights, rooms spacious and very clean. There is a 24hr bar available. Breakfast was pleasant enough. Would most definitely stay here again. Didnt use parking facilities as train station near by. If you miss the evening meal then there is also pizza available to order
We are regular visitors to London but have never stayed in the Docklands area. Easy parking, £15 for 24 hours and next to the hotel. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. The room we had was a corner one and clean and spacious and the aircon worked well as the week we were there it was 34c !!! Buffet breakfast with a good choice of hot and cold food and the evening menu was basic but food was good for what we paid. DLR 5 mins walk away and 25 minutes to Tower Bridge and the tube system. Bottom line is we are already planning our next trip to London and this is where we will be staying !!
We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. The hotel was beautifully clean and the reception staff were very welcoming and informative. There is a DLR train station about 5 mins walk away from the hotel which was very useful to get to and from the centre of London. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. A nice addition was the make your own waffle machines. We breakfasted between 8am and 9am and it was quite quiet at those times. Our main gripe was the servicing of the rooms. One day we had the bed re-made but no refill of tea/coffee etc and no cleaning of the bathroom. The next day they cleaned the bathroom, changed the towels (didn’t need changing) but did not remake the bed, empty the bins or replenish the tea/coffee/toilet rolls. When mentioned at reception they didn’t seem bothered just handed over replacements. Would expect more from this group of hotels.…
Booked this hotel due to an event at the 02. We arrived and was welcomed by lovely reception staff who were quick to check us in. We paid for parking which was £15 and seemed pretty safe. Room was lovely and clean but the bed was slightly uncomfortable ( this is my personal preference) . We had no issues with noise and slept pretty well. Breakfast was good. It did become very busy between 8-9am but there was still plenty of food available. Would definitely visit again.
