The place is righg next to monument station and is well connected. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. With just 2 apartments per floor, the residence gives you the privacy you need. Internet is by wifi and on speed is average. Staff are very courteous and willing to please. The kitchenette is well kitted with an oven a hob, microwave, dishwasher...

Stayed 2 nights on business in June. The location is great, in the heart of the city, close to Monument tube station and so easy to get places. However, the setup is poor. I was in a top floor studio apartment with a 'roof terrace'. The roof terrace was a narrow walkway with no room for even a chair, and...

Dear Madturkey Thank you taking the time to write a review. We are disappointed you didn't enjoy your stay. The studio is actually bigger than the average hotel room in London and we believe much better value. We have 13 more apartments in the building ranging from 45 to 72 sqm. This is definitely one of our strengths. The TV...

Pros Great location close to monument/bank tube station and the Thames walk Clean and comfortable Good facilities and helpful staff Cons Apartment 1 very noisy with aircon units outside bedroom window. Stayed 3 nights, initially we were in Apartment 1, and found the aircon units incredibly noisy, also the dishwasher unit didn't work, which wasn't such a big deal. The friendly...

Myself and a partner stayed here for one night. The apartment is located excellently for London Bridge and the tube around central London. It's spacious, immaculate and modern. You get your bedroom, bathroom and a lovely open plan living room with kitchen, which is great if you're looking to eat in. We stayed and decided to go out for dinner,...

My girlfriend and I stayed just for the one night. The apartment I stayed in was clean, stylish and roomy. Everything I needed was already in place (ironing board, cutlery etc). Great location for jumping on the underground (Bank, Monument) and for walking across the Thames to London Bridge. The only negatives I have to say are; The apartments feel...

Stayed at Fraser Monument for two nights whilst in City on business. Will definitely return. I like the feel of the Frasers, they are like home-from-homes. They are not hotels so it's important to work with the staff on reception - in this case at the Fraser City just around the corner. The reception people went out of their way...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
