Near public transport, nice and quiet, friendly staff, clean. No window in our room. 7 floors and an elevator. I would have liked to be able to hang the towels in the bathroom, and a little table at the right side of the bed
We booked a twin room with window for £71.28. The hotels location is fantastic, it’s clean and although the rooms are small, (it’s London after all!) they have absolutely everything you need for a quick stopover. The hotel was so quiet so we had a much choice better night sleep than we thought we would have and finally, the staff were super helpful. We would absolutely stay again!
Not even average for the money.A tiny room with no window, air con is poor. Not clean, you could see the dust floating about . No kettle, got to pay extra for anything. Bed was rock hard, walls so thin you can hear the slightest noise and the 2 on reception No help and rather rude.
Very good location within a 10 min walk to Liverpool station. The hotel is modern and has what you need for a weekend stay. We had a problem with the TV channels not working which was a shame and would of been nice considering the world cup was on. We had a room with no window which was cosy but I'd recommend a window room because it's hard to know what time of the day it is and not having the natural light but the mood lighting in the room was great so the white light made it feel like natural light in the room. The room was smaller than expected but didn't spend a whole lot of time in the room. Overall its a decent hotel and the location was the biggest plus especially with the train station close by to take the Stansted express
Good location, easy walk from Liverpool Street with pubs and restaurants plentiful in the area. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Good standard of cleanliness. Communal area was very pleasant for late night coffee and snacks. It was as expected but the room was very small and not so easy to navigate. London prices ridiculous in December and price per night, even though cheaper than most hotels in area, was very painful for a room of this size. Market forces I know but hotel both the smallest and most expensive room I have ever stayed in and it hurt a little bit. But if I move past that it was clean and comfortable and a good choice for a bed for the night,
Excellent customer service, Jonathan was particularly helpful and friendly, making the experience delightful. The rooms are clean and ample, great space for working in the main reception area and breakfast provided a wide range of options to cater for most and was lovely.
The hotel was convenient location for business trip. Room was suitable for overnight stay and bathroom was a good size. Hotel appeared newly refurbished. Breakfast was good, but a shame no no hot food. Despite this, would stay again if in London for business.
I only stayed for 1 night, so that was all right. The room was so small that you can’t exactly come in with luggage. Same with a tiny bathroom, it’s very hard to move around. Though, I think it’s smart use of space, and they used many ways how they optimised space in that tiny room. It’s OK for one person for just a night, but it would be very hard to fit if there are two of you travelling with your own bags for example. There’s no table as such, for example if you needed to work from the room, you pretty much work from bed. There is a little mini-table (more like a shelf) that you can drop from the wall if you need it, but there’s not much you can do with it. Breakfast is limited in terms of variety, it’s more like coffee and snacks, with some pastries. Again - this worked perfectly for me, as a solo business traveller that only basically needed to sleep somewhere before the working day (office is like 5min walk from the place). But if you’re coming not alone, for a long weekend and need some comfort, this place won’t exactly work very well :) unless they have big rooms that are just much more expensive.…
All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. The room and bathroom were clean and had everything I needed for a short stay. The hotel is in a good location close to transport links. Would reccomend.
Stayed at PontA shoreditch. Excellent service with good location. Rooms are small but beds are pretty comfortable. All together very good value for your money if you're looking for a place to sleep and use most of your time exploring the city.
