Victory House Leicester Square garners praise for its vibrant atmosphere and spotless cleanliness, with many guests appreciating the modern rooms and comfortable beds. Despite some reports of small rooms and maintenance issues, the central location is a highlight, offering easy access to attractions and transport. However, opinions on service and value for money are mixed, with some travelers citing high costs and additional fees, as well as varying experiences with staff responsiveness. The noise level, a common concern for centrally located hotels, generally subsides by 10 pm, ensuring a peaceful night's rest for many guests.

We pre booked a two night stay here and arrived slightly before check-in time. Our room was ready so after registration we headed up to the fourth floor. There is Pathe News projected onto the walls at every level and it is very tempting just to stand and watch it and to try and name the people shown. Our room was lovely, very minimalist and calming from a muted colour palette. The bed was huge and as it turned out extremely comfortable. The shower room was quite small but had everything we required. The rainfall shower was very powerful and the White Company (Noir) toiletries were appreciated. The Hotel was very quiet as we did not hear our neighbours at all but the noise from the drummers outside in Leicester Square at 3a.m. was dreadful and despite being prepared with earplugs it still disturbed our sleep. This also happened on our second night so be warned. Breakfast was delicious and excellent. The staff were obliging, friendly and very efficient. There was a good selection of cereals, yoghurts, smoked salmon, meats and cheeses as well as a warm selection. The sourdough bread was fabulous. Despite the grumbles regarding the noise, we would stay here again as the location of the a Hotel is perfect for walking everywhere. We loved that.

As someone who has worked in marketing for 20 years I'm hugely cynical of any online advertising tools, so I feel super silly for having fallen for the photography on the website and social channels. It looks beautifully light, airy, reasonably sized and very contemporary. In reality, the lift was rickety, corridors darker than Mordor, room pokey with small porthole windows which is a huge shame given the location of the hotel. The reception was underwhelming to say the least - a lady sat behind a makeshift desk on an old bar stool down a long galley room. It felt like I was going into a trades entrance. The first impression was miles away from the luxury on the website and social channels. The room was clean but small considering we'd opted for the Queen Suite. The bathroom smelled like cabbage and had zero ventilation so couldn't shift that smell. There was rust on the walls in the shower from where there had been something attached to the tiles which had been removed but the rust was still on the tile. The kitchen and bar were closed due to "Covid" which is crazy given that all the bars and restaurants in the West End are up and running. There was a Nespresso machine in the room but no pods... I will say that the whole disappointment was mildly redeemed by a very comfortable and clean bed which delivered a very good night's sleep. But overall, it definitely not what I expected from what is presented online as a little bit of luxury. It was average at best and not value for money. Don't believe the Instagrammers!! I'll go for the Premier Inn across the street next time.

Made a choice to stay here as we usually choose branded hotel chains like Hilton. I was very pleased with this hotel, absolutely nothing went wrong. The room was big enough, it wasn't enormous but the quality was great, the beds were comfy, it was well cleaned. The shower was great, in fact, possibly the best shower I've ever had in an hotel in terms of water pressure and volume. The public areas were nice and clean and smelled good too. Lovely style touches everywhere with dimmed lighting and vintage film projections on the walls, there was nothing to not like about the hotel. Are there better hotels? Of course, but at twice the price. The approach to the entrance of the hotel is the only thing that let's it down as it looks like a cafe bar and the reception is through the bar essentially but don't let this put you off. This hotel is an Hilton Honors Club killer for me and has pushed me to try more hotels like this instead of the almost always guaranteed disappointment I seen to get everytime I check in with Hilton or Marriott. Why? Well, the aircon worked for starters, the shower and bathroom fittings all worked and there was no dust in the room or black hairs in the bathroom. The location was amazing, 30 seconds from chinatown and Leicester square and 1 minute walk from trafalgar. 6 minutes from Tottenham Court Road tubestation and 10 minutes walk from embankment pier for the Thames River boats. We stay in London a lot, and this was the best location we've ever had. If you're driving in then QPark in chinatown is your best car park bit this hotel really you don't need your car. My advice would be park outside London and tube in to avoid congestion charges and heavy parking fees, not to mention the myriad of fines you can get for being in the wrong lane. Noise, our window was on the first floor over looking the entrance, there was some noise although very little after 11pm and remained fairly low until 10am the following day. The hotel has eyemasks and earplug sets in the rooms as standard, but these weren't required. There was no desk and chair in our room, so this would be worth considering if you're thinking of working. Our room was the double deluxe. The bed was perfectly comfortable. All in all, a perfect stay, thank you Victory House, hopefully we will return soon.

Room not as clean as you would expect on arrival. Also very bad location of the room it was very noisy and extremely cold as the sound and wind proofing needs repair. Also if you wish to have a drink after 10.30 you may not be able to as the hotel depends on the privately owned restaurant to provide drinks. I had to offer staff £30 cash for a bottle of wine to take to the room as he refused to sell me one at first .

My family stayed at the Victory House for a family vacation in England. The location is absolutely perfect, it's in Leicester Square which is basically a mini "Times Square." There is always a street performance to watch (singing, break dancing, caricatures, etc) and is right in front of China Town. It is also a short walk to any bus, metro, or tax stand a guest may need. It is also right down the street from Picadilly, which is full of additional shopping and dining options.
Depending on room location, guest may hear noise from the area at night (street performers, loud people, etc). The staff are very friendly, and attempt to do everything within their power to ensure you have a nice stay. They offer restaurant suggestions, directions, and transportation guidance. One of the front desk staff even agreed to send my post cards out for me! The staff are typically very prompt to respond to email communication prior and during your stay.
The only issue my family encountered was during check-in, and it wasn't completely the hotel's fault. The guests who stayed in the room assigned to my family prior to our arrival had a very late check out, and as such our room was not ready as expected at 3PM. In addition, there are not many outlets in the room we stayed in, but there were two USB chargers by the headboard. The hotel also does not recycle, but if guests are so inclined the city has recycle bins in Leicester Square.
One thing to note for future guests, this hotel has gone cashless and only accepts payment by card at this time. The payment is due at check-in, not check out.
Overall, it is a lovely hotel with friendly people and I would recommend it to future guests!

We were a group of three adults and we booked the Junior Suite. A foldout bed was provided in the separate sitting area. Room was on the 5th floor and was fully airconditioned and we heard no noise from outside or inside the hotel at night.

The location was perfect as it was on a direct underground from Heathrow airport to Leicester Square.

We would highly recommend this hotel.

We paid around £700 for 3 nights and thought that the money was well spent due to the fantastic location. It’s perfectly well located for us to explore the best of London, we mostly walked to most places and restaurants.
The hotel room is tiny like most London hotels but it didn’t bother us because we stored our big luggage at the airport. There’s enough electrical ports in the room to charge our phones and power bank. Water pressure was strong and the shampoo didn’t make my hair frizzy like most hotel’s shampoo.
One of the elevator didn’t work for the whole four days while we were there so we took the stairs because it was faster to just walk up and down the stairs than waiting for the elevator especially during the day since it’s shared with the housekeeping staffs as well.
We were a bit worried regarding the noise level some guests mentioned on the reviews but we found it didn’t bother us too much in the end.

My friend and I stayed here for the night as we were going to the premiere of Top Gun : Maverick. He booked here because of the close proximity to the Odeon Luxe and I’m so glad he did! A very special shout out to Sophia who worked on the desk, she was so welcoming, helpful, friendly and personable. We dropped our bags off before our check in time with no issue and our room was clean and absolutely fine for a central London location. The room was perfectly fine for what we needed, only there for the evening and plenty of space for our bags, a hanging rail for clothes and a useful hair dryer. I brought my own toiletries with me but soap and shampoo are provided along with water in the mini fridge. We were on the 6th floor with a view across Leicester Square and didn’t have any issues with noise, which I was pleasantly surprised by as when you’re staying in a central location like this you can expect a certain level of noise! Thank you again for such a lovely stay, all of the staff were really friendly and helpful.

For the price paid for the deluxe queen suite we found that the quality was definitely not to standard as the seat cushions were dirty and the facility over all lacked cleanliness. We also found there was no soap or tooth paste so therefore not satisfied for the price we were paying. On the other hand it is located in a nice part of the city and close to all major attractions but very disappointing in quality.

We had a very nice stay at Victory House. It's located right in Leicester Square, right in the middle of a lot of tourist destinations, very easy to take the Tube everywhere. We were upgraded to a Deluxe suite when we got there, so we had a pretty nice sized room. Bathroom was pretty big but we had trouble with the hot water. We also think we were put into a smoking room, so if that it's an issue, then I suggest ensuring that the room you get is a non-smoking room.
