I recently stayed at the York & Albany Hotel with my mother, as part of a business trip. Our room was beautiful, staying at the York & Albany felt like being at home away from home. The food in the York & Albany Restaurant was absolutely delicious, probably one of the best meals we ever had in London. I cannot fault the staff, they have been all exceptionally helpful and professional, from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Special thanks to Oana, Anna and Abraham for being so accommodating. Chef Ramsay should be proud of having such great ambassadors in his team.

Overall we had a great stay. The Staff in both the Hotel and the Restaurant were welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and well kitted with tea, coffee & water and a well equipped bathroom including dental, shaving and sewing kits along with dressing gowns and slippers. The bed was a bit small, the only thing stopping me giving a 5 star review. The food in the restaurant was very nice and good portion sizes. We sat in the bar area and we reiceved just as good a service as you would in the specific restaurant area. The location is great, just a short walk from Camden and the excellent nightlife, but far enough up the road not to be loud at night. Just over the road is Regents Park with London Zoo a great chance for some fresh air in the city.

A stunning old building converted into an 8 bedroom hotel and restaurant. Quirky rooms - we stayed on the top floor room 8 with views over Regents Park. A lovely old room with fireplace and character furniture with a modern twist. Very comfortable bed. We are in the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast and I have to say the food was amazing - how can a burger and basic fish and chips taste so good. The service and attention from staff was just right. The star though was Anna - the hotel manager. Always attentive and a great host. Thank you So much for an enjoyable 2 nights.

an amasing hotel...only 8 rooms, thaey treat you as the royal family... beautiful room, with an amasing bath...great to relax yourself after shopping... can't ask for a better location...88 bus streight to Oxford street, Camden market down the road... perfect breakfast nothing that I have ever witnessed in a 5 star hotel... to sit in front of Camden neighborhood, to see all the joggers who run to Regent's park, which is 5 minute walk from the hotel, and to enjoy breakfest that is served to you , not in a buffet p e r f e c t !!!

Stayed 2 nights in London and chose York and Albany hotel as we wanted to explore Camden on first night. Easy to find and get to from Euston , either 2 tube stops or 20min walk. Just on edge of busy area it was really quiet and relaxing. Room was great and clean, we got early check in and a glass of fizz on arrival. Breakfast was excellent, catered for gluten free really well. Service really good and friendly. Would definitely stay again

Billing itself as a restaurant (Gordon Ramsey-led) with rooms, this small hotel in a historic building has a fantastic location, near Regents Park, the Belsize and Primrose neighborhoods, and the Camden Town Tube stop 7 minutes walk away; has terrific rooms with real character (the opposite of the generic hotel); and an amazingly helpful staff, Anna and Oana and all the others who made my stay perfect, and who greatly assisted me by extending my stay when I was unable to return to the US as originally scheduled—they went well above and beyond the call of duty. Y&A is now my hotel of choice for all future trips to London. Highest possible recommendation.

It’s an old building!!! Enjoy the quirks!!! We really liked the style of the place with a smattering of genteel decay. Our room was clean with super comfy beds and great linens. From my initial enquiry to book the room everything was dealt with promptly and professionally by the hotel manager Oana. She was replying late in the evening and nothing was too much. I was hoping to meet her but instead on arrival I met Anna who is the Assistant Manager and I can only say she is the best member of hotel staff I have met. She made the stay a real experience and she was at hand to deal with any enquiry. Thank you Anna, you are great. This goes for the whole team but Anna really stood out. The hotel is slightly dated now but has a real charm and is in such a great location. The breakfast was really good as were the drinks the night before....! Thank you..... Scott

I was so excited on arriving at Gordon Ramseys Hotel, which my hubby booked for my birthday as I’m a huge fan, only to be so disappointed. The staff were very attentive and very polite but the Hotel lacked character and lustre as it wasn’t overly clean and needs a lot of TLC The lighting in the room was terrible for doing your make up it was so yellow and dim. Not the experience we’d imagined at all sadly.
