I should really have checked on TA first but I thought how bad could it be? My question was answered upon entering the room, conveniently located up five flights of increasingly narrow stairs. There's no disabled access and no lift. Obviously. Secured with a flimsy Yale lock, the room contained a bed, shower, sink, fridge and wardrobe made, apparently, from... More

This hotel should only be used at last resort. The rooms are super small, the bathrooms had black mold growing above shower and toilets clogged with most uses. The free WiFi was almost unusable and wall outlets seemed to work about 50% of the time. The only reason this gets a 2 star is staff was friendly at front desk... More

We were lucky enough to have the "suite" on the ground floor which consisted of a well sized living area complete with fridge and tea/coffee and large TV. It then had a very large and comfy bed round the corner. First impressions great and the bedding was very clean and tidy. What let this room down was the bathroom as... More

My room is in the basement, no toilet in the room, which is not a problem, but the nearest toilet had urine on the floor and seat, also the seat is broken which makes you nearly trap your bits between the porcelain and the plastic when you are seated! Also locking the toilet door is very difficult. The room has... More

Our room was cleaned every day and the staff was very nice. We checked in very quickly and paid at reception. The location was great and the metro station was very close. We also walked to Hyde Park it only took us 15 minutes. I also have to say that the breakfast was excellent.

This is the worst hotel I have lived. The basement room is full of bad smells and There are bugs on the bed in the upstairs room. I can't fall asleep because of bugs biting. Poor conditions and poor environment.

Do not stay here!! We have just come back from a new years stay here and it was a disaster from start to finish! We had a tripple room and it was just about big enough to sleep one! The beds were so uncomfy having nails sticking out of the bases in which one of my friends gashed her leg... More

Upon arrival our room was not ready so were given an upgrade to an en-suite family room for the duration of our stay at no extra cost. All staff were extremely helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel, choosing to stay in sussex gardens. Booked a triple room and expected 3 single beds as I requested. The staff were very nice but our room was beyond bad. A double and a single bed were squashed into a tiny room on the ground floor at the back of the hotel. The ensuite was... More
