I stayed at the Clarendon apartments in Brushfield Street for four weeks in nov-dec 2012 with my husband and 5 month old baby daughter. Our trip was a mixture of business (my husband was working in London) and a family holiday (I was at home with our daughter). The location was fantastic, right above the Spitafields markets and just a...

The flat is modern and in a good location near Liverpool street station. It was missing a few utensils some of which I bought and left behind. But the really irritating thing is the noise. People walk and talk on three sides of this first floor flat day and night. Oops, I exaggerated. Between 1am and 5 am it is...

My fella and I stayed here Friday to Sunday earlier this month as we were spending time at the Barbican and going to Vinopolis. The...

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
Spitalfields
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
