Amazing cheap place to stay. Brilliant location, friendliest staff and cheapest beer in central london. Stay here everytime I come to London. The pub downstairs has a cosy atmosphere to meet fellow travellers, and the rooms are quiet and clean.

Got bitten up bad by bed bugs here on my 1st night there which pretty much ruined my trip. I was on the bottom of a triple bunk in a small dorm . I asked to change rooms in the morning obviously but the other dorms people staying there were using free bunks for storage so I had to put... More

I've been in a few hostel in London, and I can say that it's sometimes hard to try to break the ice when you're new and everyone already knows each other. Here is totally different, you never feel lonely, the team will do everything to make you feel comfortable ! If you are going in a hostel to make new... More

Literally the best hostel I've ever stayed in. Checked in for 4 nights, the room is a bit small, but you get your own locker and the beds are so comfortable. The hostel itself is very clean and the atmosphere is very good. The staff is very nice, especially the receptionist named Carola, she'll do the most to make you... More

Award for the worst hostel ever I've stayed at in London. Stayed in room 11 on your first step when you enter the damp smell hits you with the worst greeting ever and you know you its going to be a long night ahead. Once i entered the smell had a matching appearance mold on the walls, the hostel has... More

Located very handy to Euston Stations for both Circle Lines and Picadilly Lines to get you around town is a huge aspect for any backpacker (in my opinion)! The rooms are decent but cosy and there are ample bathrooms and toilets for each floor however only the main bathroom on the top floor where i stayed was clean, the others... More

Easy going place, ample areas for chilling on the sofas, very friendly staff, felt very secure, the bar is great place to have to sit, have a beer and just talk to people and make friends, rooms are clean, showers are OK. Ask for bottom bunk bed if you are coming back late after party, this way you wont need... More

This was the first hostel I stayed at on my trip after flying in from Gatwick airport. Navigating the subway system from Victoria Station to Marylebone was surprisingly simple. The location is only a short 2 minute walk away after thats all said and done. Just head right out of the station towards Bell street and turn left when you... More

Check in for one night stay during my visit to London back in winter 2013, the ambience of the hostel is quite. The community is very quite at night is barely to look for dining area nearby, i would conclude that if you are not picky type this hotel might suits you, basic needs is provided.

One week of holiday in London looks perfect (and it was) but it is even more perfect when you're staying at Phoenix Hostel. I booked it because it's cheap and has a great location (3 tube stations 10 min away, a Sainsbury and a Tesco 5 min away), so I didn't know what to expect. What a great surprise! Open... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
