The staff make everyone welcome, eclectic range of people staying when I went and as an old lady I was a bit of a head-turner perhaps! The young ones were very kind, slept ok in my bunk and enjoyed the super clean bathroom. Lovely warm place to go just to have a place to sleep in London. Nice adventure. Free...

This was my first hostel stay... ever. Pre-booking emails with staff and easy online booking assuaged enough doubt, so I booked. And, overall, am glad I did. The check-in guy was friendly; his manager, not at all. His attitude prompted me to ask his name so as to communicate his attitude with upper management. He adjusted his attitude forthwith. The...

The hostel was in a convenient location; very handy for the tube and buses. The downstairs area was great- a nice little bar/restaurant and each night has a different theme. It's very easy to get chatting to other guests there. As a guest you also get unlimited soft drinks which was brilliant. The upstairs facilities are pretty basic and my...

I spent one night in the 12bed dorm in January. The building used to be a pub and it was turned into a hostel, which is quite cool. The bar is still there, so you don't have to go too far if you need a pint. Staff I met were nice. I got a free towel when I checked in....

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
