Week-end with husband and young kids for their 1st time in London. We chose the hotel for the location. Indeed great location…. But that’s the only positive point I have. VIP access with Expedia, should have allowed us to an upgrade while check in. Refused. Should have allowed us to late check out. Refused (we asked for 1 hour delay…) Very poor cleanliness, bins not emptied after the 1st night, sink clogged. Minibar can’t be opened. Breakfast taken in a room without window, even in the congress room on the 2nd day, feels like a cruise on a very big boat. We had a drink on Saturday afternoon… waited for 30minutes to get 4 drinks. This hotel does not deserve so many stars. This price for this poor level of service is not acceptable. We won’t come back for sure.

Hotel's Favourite
Stayed for Christmas l, arrive by train at Waterloo so the location is perfect for me, I was upgraded to a family suit which was extremely kind. The hotel feels high end without the high end price tag, the beds and pillows are extremely comfortable. The staff very helpful and friendly. The pool feels luxurious and is a great temperature. Breakfast was buffet style the plates were heated so your breakfast stayed warm and an egg station, so the eggs are cooked fresh to order, I personally would rather have everything cook to order, I’m sure that way there would be a lot less waste. I would like to see something happening in the area that used to be used for the executive lounge, I always liked to use it. It’s a great space with lovely views of Big Ben and Westminster bridge. Such a waste. My last three stop overs at this hotel left doubts about staying again, (July 21, the tennis event stopped us using the hotel to its full potential. August 21, there was an awful smell in our room, which I reported and was told someone from the hotel would contact me they didn’t. September 21, due to COVID restrictions the pool numbers are restricted which meant our party of seven on this occasion could not swim together as they couldn’t fit us in) but this time it redeemed itself, the hotel was clean, we felt welcomed, and I really enjoyed staying here for Christmas, I’m so glad I give it another chance.

From start to finish we enjoyed our stay. The rooms were well decorated and cared for. Bathroom with big. Decent separate shower. Plenty of products/hangers/iron/board/hairdryer/safe provided. The fkuffiest of towerls and the comfiest of mattresses and duvets!! Fridge/tea/coffee making facilities and very tasty biscuits. We had an atrium room which was amazingly quiet, coupled with incredible blackout curtains we could have easily overslept. The staff we cane into contqct with were super friendly. We didn't use the spa/pool/restaurant or bar facilities as unfortunately one of us took ill. The hotel is perfect for either Westminster Bridge or Waterloo Stations, both within a 5 minute walk. Its very handy for all the Westminster sights and those along the Southbank. We strolled right along. I would stay again and definitely recommend to clients.

Stayed with family for one night at the hotel. We had a studio booked. Room was comfortable and clean. We were extremely impressed by the customer service, especially by a staff member named Ramiro. He truly believes in going an extra mile to provide great customer service. Very polite and friendly, truly an asset for Park Plaza team.

Arrived midday and checked in, rooms not ready, totally understood this, however, when we returned to the hotel in the evening, our booking had disappeared and made to feel it was my fault that there systems were inept. Eventually they re booked me in and the Duty Manager gave me some drink vouchers as an apology. Duly went to the bar and ordered some beverages to be told that I could use vouchers for hot or soft drinks, and that the bar man was doing me a favour to allow me to have a white rum. The bedrooms at this hotel are nice and clean, no issues there. Breakfast next day was average, poor quality ingredients on the buffet. Staff at this hotel need some customer care training, I felt the staff I encountered were poorly trained and more interested in their profits opposed to any level of customer service

The location of this hotel was fantastic! I loved walking out and seeing Big Ben. The interior rooms are a bit claustrophobic so be sure to book a room that actually looks outside. I loved the rooms products as week as the tea trays fully stocked each day. The tubs are deep so if you have a belly, you aren’t created a deserted island 🏝 look in the tub. We weren’t a fan of the buffet as we stayed all over England and it wasn’t very nice compared to the other hotels. But if you’re in london there are so many great places to go out for a proper English breakfast. Ordinarily I would have rated this hotel a 4 star but every now and then you come across a hotel employee you Makes you feel so welcome, so comfortable and truly exemplifies hospitality. In the lobby cafe, Primo, is a waiter named Habib who truly made our stay here memorable. From his suggestions on what to order, to his sweet polite interactions with me and my son, Habib set the bar so high when we went to other establishment where the food may have been impressive but the service was bland. Always with a smile and with dapper poise, Habib deserves recognition for his role in making this hotel a memorable stay. Many thanks!

The hotel itself when walking in looked lovley, when arriving to the room it was not what i woulf of exspected for the price that i paid, the room contained rubbish from previous people, compliments missing. Breakfast was incorrect and when checking out the lady was very rude about our complaint and did not do anything to ease the bad experiance that we had.

Very expensive for the service and comfort you'll get. Our room was having foul smell during 6 days and the cleaning manager/staff could neither fix it nor move us to another room despite various complaints. Service is quite rude, from the security at the entrance to the cleaning staff: a security guard has tried to prevent us from check-in for several minutes because we were not having our booking confirmation ready, making us feel unfit or undesirable for such an hotel. There are much better options nearby especially at this price range.

It was very close to centre. We either used Waterloo or walked to Westminster or Embankment. We stayed in a studio room and was good enough with two kids. Checkout was very easy with the hotel app. We had a breakfast package as well, it was all good. Recommended.
