This was in a good location and the price was ok considering it was in London. Breakfast was included and very nice. However we felt a bit deceived by the room size from the images we saw on the web site. Our double room was painfully small and not in the best state of repair. One of us had to...

This is one of several hotels we've stayed at on the Cartwright Gardens crescent. The location is great--in a lovely residential neighborhood close to the Russell Square tube stop. Within walking distance of the British Museum, British Library, and Kings Cross/St. Pancras railway station. There's a friendly local pub on the corner. The hotel is small, friendly and quiet. The rooms...

Nice little hotel very close to Russel Square, Bloomsbury, British Museum, Covent Garden and theatre land. Our room comfortably fitted 4 adults, small bathroom but good shower. Quick service at breakfast and staff very courteous and helpful; overall well suited our needs for a 1 night stay in central location. We would come again.

Location is good but rooms are very small and our first room allocated was on the third floor up a narrow and steep staircase, no lift at this hotel. We were offered an alternative on the ground floor which we accepted but this room was even smaller with the bed pushed against a wall on one side. On a positive...

The most notable thing is we didn't feel like we were in the England of Virginia Woolf or the Bloomsbury we were looking for. We have been visiting the area for years and with big profit-venturing groups taking over all the family-owned B&Bs, it feels less and less English and more and more impersonal. The majority of staff on duty...

The positives- the location is great, a stones throw from Kings Cross and other interesting locations. I also explored less touristy places around Bloomsbury and again this was great. I wouldn't however ever go to the hotel again although I would recommend the area. I paid £268 for a double room, breakfast was included but service stopped at 9am. The...

We stayed for 3 nights over the bank holiday and cant really have too many complaints. The room on the ground floor was clean although a little cramped. Location is excellent , 10 mins walk from Kings Cross Station with plenty of bars, eateries close by. Only complaint is the front entrance door which slams shut every time someone comes...

Judd's hotel is conveniently situated for Euston, St Pancras and King's Cross. Set in the quiet Cartwright Gardens off the Euston road it's clean and reasonably (for London) priced. Rooms have tea and coffee, telly and en suite. The only drawback is no lift. If it's a business visit this should'nt be a problem but if your going on Eurostar...

I stayed at this hotel on business, it was booked for ease of getting to the Eurostar. NEVER AGAIN. The room was very cold and the bathroom cubicle was broken and there was a very loud noise vibrating through the walls all night long. I asked at reception if he could sort out the problem as I could not sleep,...

I stayed here for business one night only (thank goodness). My room was tiny, in the basement with a single bed and hardly any room. I think it is cheap though I didn't book it, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you're on a tight budget, there must be better rooms than the one I had. It is very convenient...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
