I expected better but the hotel was a little tired.....the check-in was quick...but the bathroom was very small....I had the narrowest window ever looking on to a back alley.....the bed was comfortable and I had a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was served in what resembled...More
This is a recently refurbished hotel, the rooms are clean and comfortable and this lodge offers a hot buffet breakfast.
The hotel is close to Waterloo Station and is convenient for the City and West End by foot or tube.
Good value for money.
very impressed, nice and chilled out, staff helpful and polite. room was a very good size for a standard room. Travelodge was a five min walk from underground station, and 10 min walk from London eye. will be visiting again.

I booked a 'super room' for one night and am also a travelodge 'member'. I had recently stayed in an equivalent room at the Euston branch and found it to be very good. All the amenities were there for a business stay. This place is...More
We arrived at the hotel reception exhausted after a long trip following a seaside holiday on the Continent. When I'm very tired I tend to become sarcastic and facetious (I know, not very pleasant traits).
In this vein I asked the male receptionist for a...More

As a guess I would say a fifteen to twenty minute walk away as you would need to go back to Waterloo station about 10 minutes and then get across the river via Waterloo bridge and then along the embankment so you are facing the London Eye across the river. I suspect it would be very crowded and I think its ticket only to see the fireworks from the embankment.

You really need to book through the hotel's website to find the total price for your stay. Hotels have weird magical pricing system whereby the final cost bears little relation to any published nightly rate or to the number of nights stayed.
I don't know if other countries do the same (I'm sure some do), but the final price is dependant on how much the hotel thinks those particular nights are worth to them and how long you are staying. Don't expect it to be as logical as taking the advertised nightly rate and multiplying by the number of nights.
The good news is that you can get the price by following the online booking form through and then make a decision at the last minute to not confirm your booking if you think the total is too high.
Your other questions are probably best answered by the hotel themselves, although I can tell you that you need to head for Waterloo station, probably the Underground part of it. Then find the Waterloo Road exit (there are several exits), cross the road and turn right to head SE towards the hotel. Google Maps is worth checking on.
