It's my second time staying here and this time, I chose just the Deluxe twin as oppose to the Club Lounge rooms. The room was really really small.....and it was also really really old. Don't get me wrong, the lobby, the bar, the Palm Court where breakfast was served, the smell in the lobby is just super wonderful, elegant and...

5 wonderful nights, attentive staff, excellent room and great great great location. If you want a centrally located luxurious place to stay then go no further. I think my only criticism is the bar area down stairs. Very crowded at times due to popularity and Palm Court was not open for breakfast early, so missed this experience. I heard that...

Before you even enter the elegant Langham, you will notice something wonderful...the hotel has a distinct "signature" fragrance of ginger-lily that permeates from the lobby all the way out to the street. Now that may sound overpower but, quite the contrary, it is light, refreshing and intoxicating. So, I fell in love with the place before I even made it...

A lovely hotel, attentive staff (without being over the top). The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast in the lounge was excellent. The swimming pool was fantastic. The only downside was that our meal at Roux at the Landau did not come up to expectations but I have not marked the Hotel itself down in...

My husband and I stayed at the Langham for a mid week romantic theatre break. Overall we were impressed and definately good value for money. Location: minutes from Oxford Street-Selfridges, Regent Street and easy access to London Palladium. Service: All staff were friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much for them. Club Room: spacious and excellent facilities. Marble bathroom with...

We recently stayed 3 nights in a Langham Club room and whilst I can see why so many people rave about the hotel I can only comment on our experience which was well under expectations. When we first arrived the check in experience was terrible, despite checking in after 3.00pm the room was unavailable but the worst aspect was the...

Dear Seasoned T Thank you so very much for taking your valuable time to provide this feedback following your recent stay at The Langham London. Whilst we are regretfully unable to turn back the clock in order to eliminate the less than satisfactory check-in experience along with the manner in which the colleague engaged with you, we do wish to...

We had a wonderful afternoon tea here before Christmas. I have visited many of the major hotels for tea ( including the Ritz) and this was by far the best. The reason is 100% because of the service. My tea cup was never empty and there was seconds of everything! The food was also great.

We had a great experience at this hotel, where we stayed for three nights. After emailing reservations and stating that we were travelling abroad for 7 weeks and would have a bit of luggage and did not want a tiny room where we would be tripping over it (and each other!) Miriam suggested a Club Suite on which they were...

Lovely, elegant central London hotel. Perfect location, just a few minutes walk to Oxford Circus. The first visit, stayed in a deluxe room, it was very small and dark with no view out but the alternative I was offered was a 'smoking' room, which really did smell of stale smoke! I am amazed that hotels still have 'smoking' rooms. The...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
