From the moment we alighted from our taxi, we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff who seemed to delight in making our stay memorable. Our room on the seventh floor was spacious, clean, with a view over London. The bed was extremely comfortable with great pillows. Every time we entered the foyer we were spoken to by one or other of... More

Decided to treat my wife and I to a short trip to London, having not stayed in London, as a tourist since I was a child. Very happy that I chose the Langham. This is a fabulous hotel that feels intimate, despite its size. The service is impeccable. The Afternoon Tea in the Palm Court is fantastic. The Artesian Bar... More

I keep trying to find reasons not to give that precious 5 star review away. But I just couldn't. 5 stars deserved for: - Great quiet location on a historic street, yet a few minutes walk from Oxford Circle tube station, which is in the Center of shopping area and next to famous Regent Street - Every employee tries to... As the start of our UK adventure we chose to stay in a one bedroom apartment on the 6th Floor of the Langham London (Room 639) for a week. It had some views and looked across at the BBC studios. We organised for the Langham's driver to collect us from Heathrow. It was well worth the money to see a... More

It's my second time staying here and this time, I chose just the Deluxe twin as oppose to the Club Lounge rooms. The room was really really small.....and it was also really really old. Don't get me wrong, the lobby, the bar, the Palm Court where breakfast was served, the smell in the lobby is just super wonderful, elegant and... More

5 wonderful nights, attentive staff, excellent room and great great great location. If you want a centrally located luxurious place to stay then go no further. I think my only criticism is the bar area down stairs. Very crowded at times due to popularity and Palm Court was not open for breakfast early, so missed this experience. I heard that... More

Before you even enter the elegant Langham, you will notice something wonderful...the hotel has a distinct "signature" fragrance of ginger-lily that permeates from the lobby all the way out to the street. Now that may sound overpower but, quite the contrary, it is light, refreshing and intoxicating. So, I fell in love with the place before I even made it... More

A lovely hotel, attentive staff (without being over the top). The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast in the lounge was excellent. The swimming pool was fantastic. The only downside was that our meal at Roux at the Landau did not come up to expectations but I have not marked the Hotel itself down in... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
