From the moment we stepped into the Ridgemount, we felt we were in good hands. Aled welcomed us and gave us very helpful bus information. We loved the hotel location (just about 10 – 15 minutes' walk from Covent Garden area) and thought our small double room en suite was fine for our needs (even had a nice view over...

I stayed at the Ridgemount with a few friends as a base for a night out in London. The hotel is basic but very clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful. The best thing about the hotel is the location as it is a short 5/10 minute walk from Euston station and a few minutes away from Goodge...

This small and charming hotel is located in front of the The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. The rooms are clean, safe and silent for a good night sleep. Every staff member we met was very kind and helpfull. Around the corner are Streets with good restaurants and lots of shops.

I stayed five nights at the Ridgemount Hotel in Central London. I was in London on some business, and the Ridgemount is close to where I needed to be. I am something of a luddite, in that I don't own a smart phone. The Ridgemount's rooms don't have the usual phones either. My business was with a German friend, and,...

in any location other than central London, this hotel would have been rated somewhat lower as expensive for its small rooms and dated furnishings. But in central London - opposite the British museum, University of London and Charlotte Street - this hotel is a really good value proposition with very friendly and knowledgeable hosts, personally cooked breakfast. Take one of...

I first stayed here in April 16. I found it such a good hotel, I returned in January 17 and would do so again. That really says it all. Clean, friendly service and a good breakfast. I felt safe walking to hotel after dark, as it is a very nice part of town, and ideal for the west end theatres...

A very friendly run hotel with the management showing genuine warmness and interest in the hotel guests. For the price you can't fault it. Common room was a nice place to chill out and meet other guests. Breakfast was fine, decent hearty grub. Not 5 star products or rooms but if your wanting that for this area of London you'll...

The rooms and bathrooms are clean. The rooms are cleaned daily and fresh towels delivered. Every morning you are treated to a traditional "English breakfast ". The staff are wonderful. Very friendly and will assist with directions. There are no elevators in the hotel. There are a lot of stairs to climb so it is not the place for those...

This was our 4th time staying at the Ridgemount Hotel over the past 15 years. Once again it met our expectations. Rooms are small and sparsely decorated but the hotel provides good value. What will continue to make it our choice of where to stay when visiting London is it's location and it's owners. Only a 5 min walk to...

I stayed overnight in a small single room. Not a lot of space, but well equipped. Room and bath were very clean. Lovely staff and good breakfast. Perfect for a short stay in central London. Good value for the money. Will definitely return.

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum.
