A truly beautiful hotel with great location. Expensive as you would expect but a memorable experience. Get the rooms with the balcony great to see the skyline and take in the air. Could do with more dining options but you’re never short of good restaurants in London. Spa and pool are a great addition.
Claridge’s has always been one of the top hotels in London but let’s face it, over the years, it had begun to get tired. Not anymore! The hotel has been renovated top to bottom and is also expanding. Claridge’s advantages have always been extensive. It’s location in the center of Mayfair can’t be beaten and it has always oozed charm and class. The staff has always provided top notch service and it’s bar is one of the best in the world. This is why it has been a classic for almost a century. These strengths remain. The hotel, however, had been in need of renovation because the rooms, while classic and charming, has become dated. In addition, the hotel lacked a spa facility. The recent renovation fixes all of this. The rooms now are the best of any city hotel that we have been too. They are now truly beautiful in every respect. The designers have been able to achieve the impossible and have balanced modernity and tradition with perfection. The room facilities are first class with stunning modern bathrooms, amazing showers and air conditioning that can finally hold its own with global warming! The design however retains the hotels Art Deco traditions with beautiful parquet wood floors and attention to detail throughout. Claridge’s has regained its position as the finest hotel in London and indeed has to be a contender on any list of finest city hotels in the world!…
Stayed at Claridge's for a couples weekend away and the stay was nothing short of amazing! From the room to the bars to the spa. Understandably not the cheapest weekend away, but you certainly get what you pay for!
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left it was as though we had been welcomed into a beautiful home full of warmth. The true beauty of Claridge’s has got to be its staff, with smiles everywhere you go. From the doorman’s greeting, to the wonderful staff members who arrived at our room for the evening turn down service, to the restaurant and bar staff and the fabulous people who take care of checking us in and out. A particular mention must go to Sara who left us feeling as though we had gained a new friend, and who went that one step further with her star quality and attention to the finest detail. A big thank you to her and to all the fabulous members of the team who made our stay truly special. We normally stay at another hotel of similar ilk, but Claridge’s has certainly won us over and we will, without doubt, be back soon. …
Claridges is my favorite hotel in the world. It’s perfect in every way; elegant but not fussy, classic but not old fashioned. The rooms and suites are stunning as is the service across the board. By some alchemy everyone who works there is both discreet and friendly. I’ve been staying there for years but it had been a while and Claridges has only gotten better. My assigned suite was lovely but I was disappointed by the interior view having only ever had the view of Brook Street. The front staff was incredibly helpful and did everything possible to move me to what is now definitely my favorite suite. The bar is perfection and the staff always make me feel like I’m at home. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in London. Claridges is a splurge but it’s worth every penny.
A visit to Claridge's is a special experience where the staff and the hotel make you feel like a true VIP. The rooms, the hotel, the food and the cocktails are excellent and the attention to detail is clear to see
An elegant and lovely hotel with first class and friendly service. The staff are very welcoming and professional, the location superb. Would recommend it anyone, we will definitely be returning in future
Claridges has undergone massive renovations in the last few years and it's beginning to unfold itself. All the rooms are newly renovated to a very high standard and comfort. The staffs are all very competent and provide very high standard of service. The atmosphere in the restaurants and bars are always tremendous. You must visit the newly opened spa and swimming pool, an oasis in the middle of the city centre. The hotel is a place where you feel pampered and privileged.
Truly special experience. From check in, to departing the staff were all so helpful and cannot do enough for you. Special thanks to Sujit, one of the Butler team. We were upgraded to a 7th floor balcony room which was amazing for the views over London. Supposed to be ‘once in a lifetime’ but already planning the next trip! 😊
claridge's is perfectly located - it takes only a few minutes to nice boutiques and restaurants. The hotel represents traditional English style. The afternoon tea is outstanding and a Must Event. The bar serves great drinks. Hotel rooms are large and comfortable. Staff is very friendly. However, prices are rather high.
