I wasn't excited about the location, a bit off the beaten path, but it was quiet. The room was very large and nicely appointed. Very comfortable beds. The food in the restaurant was very good but a bit too pricey. It certainly beats a chain hotel and makes for a comfortable stay in Chelsea.

Draycott Hotel is simply wonderful. It is beautifully done and the staff is helpful, friendly and always ready to assist. It is very discreet despite the central location. I would return in a heartbeat and warmly recommend it to anyone.

We visited this hotel and had a great time, staff were very welcoming and the rooms were amazing and very spacious, the children especially liked the hot chocolate with marshmallows served in the evening, the location is great for shopping right by kings road, but set back in a quiet location, the bed was very comfortable, will definitely return. Thanks.

This was our second stay in this hotel and we look forwards to coming back soon. The staff was very gracious and is always welcoming. The location is very quiet and discreet. Yet a very short walk to areas of interest to us. Beds and bedding are first class, service is excellent and when the weather is nice the backyard...

I would recommend anyone staying in London on a short stay or a business trip to consider the Draycott. Quaint, quiet, refined and brilliantly located just around the corner from Sloane Square. Rooms are cosy. Service is impeccable.

If you are looking for a modern hotel experience, stay away. The Draycott is designed to bring you back to the times of old world British charm and elegance. We stayed 3 nights, celebrating our 25th anniversary. Fortunately, the apple and cherry blossom trees right outside our window were in full bloom which only enhanced the garden view room. Large,...

Superb location, authentic British experience. If you ever wanted to see a perfect traditional London home from inside, you cannot miss this experience. Drawing room with team, champagne and hot chocolate happy hours. The garden (especially in the springtime) is also magnificent. A pit pricey, but good value for money.

I chose this hotel because of many glowing TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. Its a great location, very close to Sloane Square. The rooms are traditional in style and very comfortable indeed. The staff I met couldn't have been more helpful. Very cute, romantic hotel.

I continue to enjoy this lovely hotel, its superior location and warm atmosphere. Like having a home in London. The Codogan Garden out of the back door is a 'secret garden' all in bloom this time!! Must be experienced!!

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
