The Beaufort was a fantastic place to stay for our couple of days in London. The staff were excellent and absolutely nothing we asked was too much trouble - including leaving the bags there both days, getting gluten free cream tea, decaff drinks, use of an iron - we asked for all sorts! We were not made to feel a... More

Found this wonderful place hidden away behind Harrods, which was ideal for trips to the museums. The facilities and staff were excellent, and the prices were good for the area. We were reluctant to leave, but will definitely stay again on our next trip to London.

We arrived quite late on a Friday evening and stayed in a standard room this time round. Staff and hotel just as wonderful and helpful as before. Breakfast in the room was delicious. Unfortunately due to arriving late we missed the afternoon tea! Only small issues for me was no bedside cabinet on one side (because of the space). Maybe... More

We stayed a couple of days in London to recharge the batteries and enjoy shopping and exhibitions. The Beaufort proved to be the perfect location, in a quiet sidestreet of Knightsbridge near Harrods. The hotel offers great value for money, combining very nice rooms with great complementary drinks and afternoon tea. To top this off the personnel of the hotel... More

I started staying at the Beaufort many moons ago when I would go to London to work. Fast-forward to 2016 and I returned with family and friends for a lovely respite at this charming hotel. The staff was very accommodating, the facilities tidy and charming, the afternoon tea always a treat (love that clotted cream) and the open bar a... More

Everything about our stay was wonderfully perfect! And I'm not surprised because my last visit in 2008 was the same! The staff was focused and very accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and the amenities very nice. The location is also very enticing as it is on a dead end street with almost no traffic. And yet it is less than... More

We had 1 night in London and wanted to stay in a boutique hotel with a great location, close to Knightsbridge and the Beaufort ticked all the boxes! The Hotel is a beautiful townhouse tucked in a quiet (for central London) road, literally behind Harrods. The reception staff were super friendly and check in was a breeze, we were also... More

After randomly coming across this hotel on Trip Advisor, I read many positive reviews and decided to book this hotel. I stayed 3 nights at the Beaufort Hotel in September 2016 and was highly satisfied with my entire experience. The hotel is in a prime location within walking distance to Harrods and numerous shops and restaurants. The Knightsbridge tube station... More

I happened to find this hotel on Trip Advisor while looking at some other properties where I have stayed in London in the past. Everything has become so expensive, but I managed to book the Beaufort for at least 100 pounds less than comparable hotels. The location, service, bed, amenities and the attitude of the staff could not have been... More

I stayed at the Beaufort hotel for 2 nights on business and had a very positive experience. I booked a single room and, while it was quite small, it included a double bed, a large bathroom and was very well appointed. Reception and the lounge were very cosy and the free bar (until 11pm) was a very nice addition. The... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
