I last stayed at the Berkeley about 4 years ago, a visit I thoroughly enjoyed. Thankfully it remains as it was; a tranquil, intimate and efficient haven, offering what is so good about top drawer London hotels. Check-in was a smooth and informal affair, and the only occasion I recall being offered fruit juice while the process was completed. Reception...

We visited the Berkeley just before Christmas for Afternoon Tea as a special occasion. The hotel itself is beautiful as soon as you walk through the front door- everywhere had the christmas decorations up and fire was roaring! Afternoon tea is served in the Caramel Room which is situated to the front of the hotel. Very attentive service from the...

I have stayed at the Berkeley a couple times and they have not disappointed yet. Rooms are nice, service is good and hotel is very clean. The spa has recently been renovated and is beautiful, although I did not have any services. Rooms are quite spacious and comfortable with a GREAT bed! Although not the best location, it is close...

I cannot praise afternoon tea at The Berkeley Hotel highly enough. It personified elegance and beauty, high-class service and courtesy. We enjoyed a spectacular tea in the Caramel Room and were attended by staff who defined the meaning of efficient courtesy, treating us like royalty without the excessive fawning one sometimes encounters in hotels of this calibre. We had ordered...

Fabulous stay at The Berkeley for my birthday. Excellent service - from the little touches like a thoughtful birthday card from the manager, to the friendly room service staff - I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Bamford bath products were such a treat. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had, so much choice. As I left it was poring...

I was incredibly lucky to experience staying at The Berkeley Hotel, never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd stay in a hotel in Knightsbridge. We had a 6th floor room with views all over London, simply stunning! Every single of staff we met was friendly, kind and could not be more helpful. The spa feels like you're in...

We stayed in 2 adjoining rooms (2 adults & 2 teens) and they were elegant, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient- just down the street from lots of shopping (including Harrods) and easy walk to Knightsbridge & Hyde Park Corner tube stations. Lets face it, London is just expensive! But here...

Thank you for your kind comments reviewing the Berkeley, I am so pleased you enjoyed your stay and also that you enjoyed the exciting local Knightsbridge location, yes there is much to do with the adjacent Hyde Park and many local shops. The setting: 3 mock log cabins seating 2 persons each surrounded by real pine trees; twinkling Christmas fairy lights and beautiful wind chimes on the roof of the Berkeley... The movie: Miracle on 34th Street (1947 version) What we did: watched the movie; drink coffee; hot chocolate with lots of whipped cream and marshmallows; eat mini spicy mince pies and...

Having stayed at The Berkeley more than 6 times in the last few years, I suppose I could say that I am a regular guest. Located very convenient between the shopping areas of Knightsbridge and Piccadilly, the surroundings of The Berkeley has lots to offer. I personally love to stroll through Belgravia, Hyde Park and Mayfair but more popular tourist...

Staying in Belgravia

Neighbourhood Profile
Belgravia
Home to the vast majority of embassies and diplomatic residences in London, sophisticated and upscale Belgravia also boasts a wealth of luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and some of the city’s most stroll worthy lanes. While the prices here are high, taking a leisurely stroll through the streets of picturesque and elegant white stucco houses is free. Hyde Park and the Buckingham Palace Gardens are only a stone's throw away to the north, and some of Europe’s best shopping is nearby as well.
