We had a lovely suite, the service was great, tea sent up after a long day out to refresh us for dinner in the Outlaw. We had breakfast at the hotel every day, it was great. One of us is gluten free and they accommodated that even preparing a marvelous tea for us one afternoon.

My mother and I recently spend seven nights at The Capital. It was a true home away from home--albeit, one with all the amenities. First of all, we were greeted upon a late night arrival with tremendous graciousness--the kitchen was officially closed, but the bartender made us perfect tea sandwiches. All of the hotel staff, from the doormen to the...

Great location for shopping - Harrods two minutes away. Small boutique hotel, nice bar, brilliant breakfast although staff can be slow when busy. Rooms very nice. But very expensive. You are paying a premium for location. All in all it's comfortable and reliable.

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighbourhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
